I never thought I'd live to see the day, Thanks Trump. External Revenue Service.

Promises Made, Promises Kept.

I also support these tariffs.

Long term, it should bring a lot more jobs back to the US and benefit the US working class immensely - but only as long as more criminal aliens are deported each day than are entering.

The reason Trump is calling today “Liberation Day”, is because if Trump’s tariff economic plan is successful, income taxes will be no more, and the American People will no longer be tax slaves to a corrupt system.

Today will be known as the day that ended our economic slavery.

If Trump’s plan is successful, and tariffs replace income tax, the quality of life for the American People will be significantly better, and we will no longer be indentured servants to a corrupt machine. No longer will our labor be taxed to fund war and destruction around the globe. No longer will our labor be taxed just for the corrupt ruling class to line their pockets off of our suffering.

We are currently slaves to the IRS, and Trump’s tariff economic plan is trying to end that.

That’s why, if Trump’s plan works, today will be know as “Liberation Day”. Trump is trying to get rid of income tax.

He's doing it in the wrong order, IMO.

He should've started with lowering/eliminating taxes so people would have more disposable income to absorb tariff-induced price increases. And starting with lowering taxes would also lift the stonks, creating a psychological offset to the effect of raising prices of imported goods. If your paycheck is now heftier by the amount that used to be deducted for FIT and your 401k is up, it is easier to overlook that price of stuff you buy went up 10-34%. But if your paycheck is the same, your 401k is in the toilet and the prices are up 10-30% the consumer sentiment will go to shit and we'll have the recession, layoffs and all the jazz while Fed won't be able to cut rates because inflation is still too high.

Who's the main adviser on economy, Lutnick? Is he a stupid cunt?

It's either because to avoid complaints or because of the non-tariff barriers included in the percentages.

we'll have the recession

I think they are going for recession on purpose to force the Fed's hand in lowering rates... So we can refinance our debt at a better rate. If we have a big recession I don't see inflation but could be wrong I guess. Apparently inflation is low right now.
