When dusk began to set it, I was in sight of the ocean and getting off on the stars. I finally crashed nearby the trail, and could occassionally hear people traipsing by. Another time I did some and went to the supermarket. Big mistake. The checkout dude's face was melting, alternating with looking like a crazed Steve Buscemi. And I still drove home. But yeah, I’ve played football with friends on shrooms in the Berzerkely hills. No problem.

It was fun bad if that makes sense. My hands hurt and I knew my BP was high even being young. You feel like you're gonna blow up, but who knows if that was hallucinations. All the guys experienced it though, so I think it was legit.

I ate a whole packet. It tastes like trash. Wish I had a mortar and pestle at the time and ground it up into a peanut butter sandwich. My BP is under control, but I worry too much about doing something like that again. I felt and looked like a tomato. I wouldn't recommend it is the point. It was a fun night though.

Chuck Mangione has died. A member of Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers and later the Jazz Brothers, the flugelhornist and trumpeter had his greatest success as a solo artist with the smooth jazz instrumental “Feels So Good,” a #4 hit in 1978. Mangione passed away this week in his Rochester, NY hometown. He was 84.

And pill popping from wrestling injuries. He talked about numerous back issues. Some of those pills are worse than drinking a handle a day on your liver and other internal organs. Steroids likely didn't help either as you mention. Probably also drank heavily when on the road along with the pills while still wrestling. Probably some coke in there too.

I'm always surprised when any of those wrestlers lives past 60, after what they've put their bodies through.

I've only been there once. It wasn't shrooms or acid. It was morning glory seeds. Only did it once as it will blow your heart up if you're 30 or older and out of shape. I was 18 and you could just get a packet at Home Depot since it's a flower.

I tried it as a teen. I didn’t realize the pink coating was fertilizer. Got sick as a dog. I’m lucky to have survived my teen years!

Has to be a UK beef between the two. I'm guessing Waters looked down on Ozzie the whole time. I had bands we played with that I disliked, but was always cordial and didn't talk shit. Being a musician is a way harder job than most could understand. I think Waters just thought he was better. Dick comment for sure. Ozzie worked hard as all musicians do. Except Taylor Swift....
