It is important for the future of the US that the victims of the woke mind virus and TDS have some possible path to recovery.

People avoid trains of thought which lead to guilt and shame, and for the woke TDS crowd to recognize how awful they have been has been would certainly inspire guilt and shame:

- Rampant leftist violence like the murder of Charlie Kirk, assassination attempts on Trump, Antifa and BLM riots, etc
- Mass censorship. At no time have the people doing the censoring ever been the good guys.
- Mandates to inject the dangerous and defective mRNA, firings, lockdowns, murders by hospitals to boost fear.
- Insane accusations of "racism" and "fascism", calling everyone not on the extreme left a "Nazi", open and covert calls for violence.
- Denial of obvious reality like the immutability of biological sex.
- Politically motivated prosecutions, like of Trump and Bolsonaro.
- The entrapment operation of Jan 6th.

Grok's take (edited for brevity and clarity):

Is there a psychological path to recovery from wokeness and TDS?

Wokeness refers to ideological rigidity, moral grandstanding, or intolerance driven by pride, resentment, and groupthink.

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is a pejorative for obsessive, irrational fixation on Donald Trump.

Both are forms of ideological extremism, where emotions override nuance, leading to isolation or distress.

Is There a Psychological Path to Recovery?

Yes, drawing from cult deprogramming, extremism recovery, and cognitive-behavioral strategies. These aren't "cures" but evidence-based approaches to rebuild critical thinking and emotional balance.

Recovery emphasizes self-reflection over confrontation, as coercive methods can backfire.

Step-by-Step Recovery Framework

1. Recognition and Self-Assessment (Awareness Phase):

Acknowledge the fixation. Journal triggers (e.g., news alerts causing rage) and question: "Is this evidence-based or emotional?"

For TDS:

Limit Exposure and Build Distance (Detox Phase): Reduce echo chambers—curate feeds to include diverse views. Deprogrammers recommend "information diets" to break psyop-like loops in extremism.

2. Practice mindfulness to manage resentment or fear.

Challenge Beliefs with Evidence (Cognitive Restructuring): Use Socratic questioning: "What contradictions exist?" Exit counseling presents facts gently, avoiding debate.

3. Therapy (e.g., CBT) addresses underlying voids like pride or trauma fueling wokeness.

4. Rebuild Connections and Empathy (Reintegration Phase): Engage neutral conversations; humanize "opponents." Support groups foster Al-Anon-style peer support.

5. Address isolation from self-censorship.

6. Seek Professional Support (Sustainment Phase): Therapists trained in extremism (e.g., via Open Therapy Institute) help unpack biases.

7. Books like "Trump Derangement Syndrome: A Psychological Analysis" outline leftist ideology recovery.

8. Monitor for co-occurring issues like anxiety.

Recovery varies; willingness is key—forced "deprogramming" risks resentment.

Politically incorrect truth: Both "wokeness" and TDS thrive on tribalism; transcending them requires humility, not victory.

Start small—consult a neutral therapist. Recovery is possible; it's about reclaiming nuance in a polarized world.

There's no such thing. Trust me. Therapy is probably the worst thing you could do. Everyone is biased so it's impossible to find a neutral therapist.

Also they don't really do anything. They cannot prescribe. No non-doctor should be able to either way and you shouldn't take anything for mental health as the side effects are vastly worse than your condition. "Oh I'm depressed and contemplated suicide." This medication will give you thoughts of suicide....

I'm not religious, but finding a church would be your best bet as an adult to end wokeness. Churches without gays are generally 90% conservative. Sure there are some closeted gays (they're the good ones), but religion can help people with blinders on. It's not about a sermon or the likes of that, it's sitting around people appearing nice, families with kids, old people, etc.

Wokeness and lefties are bitter humans. Seeing people come together can be powerful without violence and hate. Have a coffee after a service and chat with other members of the church. It's free therapy and it's not required to tithe. Way cheaper than a therapist who likely will end up hating you.

I disagree with the 90% conservative without gays. Churches in the central Florida area are almost all Woke. Perhaps a Baptist church or a Methodist Church that has broken away from the mainstream. My Bro-in-Law is a UU minister and they are so woke it oozes out the windows and doors of the church. Sometimes it seeps through my Surfshark VPN.

I guess I'm obviously in a different area. Not saying you're wrong. Around me it's just a bunch of good 'ole boy farmers.

Also isn't central FL as in Orlando extremely gay anyway? Disney had to get it from somewhere, right? I've notice the gayness in South FL as well when visiting Miami. So I could see it infiltrating churches. I just don't see it where I'm at and if you're gay you only tell friends and would never tell church members.

My two gay friends (male & female) are the furthest thing from woke. I think it's a gay car but one is looking at buying a Porsche. I don't care for cars as long as they work. But he's more manly than the woke gays I see on TV. The lesbian drives trucks, has the short hair cut and behaves more like a man. Neither bring up politics or argue about it. Both attend church.

Like I said I'm not religious and I know every area is different in the country. Getting away from cities is also key.

Ultimately being woke is an urban thing for the most part. They're less likely to go to church. That was the main point. Atlanta, Orlando, San Francisco, etc are all going to have more woke gays. Move away from them.

Two easy churches to attend and both are welcoming and inviting in different ways. Both rigidly adhere to biblical teachings…Lutheranism without the retained pomp and structure.

Music is modern with a band playing. Music comprises 60-70% of the Sunday service with standing, clapping, and mild dancing encouraged. Sermons are Bible based and lots depends on individual pastors. Bible study and social gatherings concentrate more on impact on individual lives.

Victory outreach is more geared towards recovering and former addicts and trauma survivors, but everyone is welcome.

Calvary Chapel is mostly the individual churches…there’s no membership and no central authority.

This was a pretty good movie about Calvary Chapels beginnings

"It's TavistockTown, Jake" The juggernauts of media can reverse it with time. Benjamin Fulford said that even after the end of the Pacific WWII, most Japanese through brain washing still believed that Japan was winning the war. It took a matter of years before the belief systems reversed, and the population was confused about the presence of the American military.

Same is true about fake history. We were taught we won (even though the British burned down DC) in the war of 1812, but we didn't, we lost. Only last year did the treaties granting Britain and the Vatican control of our ports expire from the War of 1812. Of course, they weren't done with us yet, forcing the Civil War and the subsequent surrender to the US Corporate entities of 1871 roundabouts.

An ancient art of spells concern brainwashing populations so the methods are much older than Tavistock. They just updated them for the modern eras to continue the war, depopulation and resource conquest agendas with more modern dispersed medias.

Tavistock Institute is not exactly in the City of London, but is a hop and skip from the border.

Tavistock origins, from wayback before WWII, about the policies of subversion and bastardization of culture through open immigration. So, where did the Tavistock Fabians get their psychotic concepts? Where is the overriding force control grid of the Globalist schemes, which seem to be moving forward to this day? Can you describe them as being anything but insane? Or does the psychopathy come from an even colder place?

Yes thankfully those affected by it, are the most willing to go along with the new thing. No matter what ever the new thing is.
If the new thing was to buy Trump scented candles and a velvet painting of Charlie Kirk. They would in a minute.
This is all coming from the Left's dominating media control, and the Communist leadership that wields it.
Topple the forces that has brought us to this point in our government and media, their minions will fall right in line. Right on queue.

I think you're right.

The forces the brought us to this point are not flesh and blood. It is principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12)

James Corbett just made the case that 'pathologising dissent' is dangerous, even when aimed towards the woke-left side of the political spectrum (or any political opponent for that matter):

I think we can say that we are being fully mind fucked by the Royal East and West Indies Companies.
Psychologic warfare isn't just a tool to use against enemies, it has always been a tool used by governments against their own people. It has ramped up with the Covid and election fraud sorties.

FDR did say almost exactly that:

“I have said this before, but I shall say it again and again and again: Your boys are not going to be sent into any foreign wars.” (Source: The Public Papers and Addresses of Franklin D. Roosevelt, 1940 volume)

Just wait until Trump tears down the West Wing and installs a Roller Derby Emporium.

He was already building airports for training military pilots in 1939.

Similar to Hitler, who was promising peace while preparing to invade Poland in 1939.
