I think it would be unhealthy to be too interested in the Nazis
how literally everyone who is not an extreme leftist is called a Nazi these days, I'd like to understand the real Nazi psychology better.
Hitler was very successful, he pulled Germany out of slavery and conquered most Europe (would have taken whole thing if he didn’t attack Russia).
It’s not bad to learn about what he did. I’m pretty sure much of today’s propaganda is based on theirs.
I happen to have a German degree, just because my dad had studied German and I found his college German books interesting as a kid. So I can read German, and the old script. I recognized "Das Buch der NSDAP" as about Nazis, since NSDAP stands for Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei.
Published in 1934, shortly after Hitler gained power, it seems to be a history of the Nazi party from the Nazi point of view.
Having recently finished "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" by Shirer, pub 1960, this is timely for me. Now I can read their side of the story in the original German. I doubt I'll find anything really astonishing, but you never know.

And it's kind of fun finding a book which is probably worth 100 Euros. Not in the best condition, but not terrible.
