How a Brazilian Beef Cartel ate your steak

Once upon a time, you paid fifty bucks for a steak only if your waiter wore a tux. Now you pay it under fluorescent lights at the supermarket.

That’s not inflation. That’s a Brazilian beef cartel squeezing American families. Here’s the part no one ever explains:

Beef prices aren’t set on the ranch. They’re set in the slaughterhouse — the place where cattle are turned into the burgers and steaks you buy at the store. Control that step, and you control the price. Period.

And right now, America’s slaughterhouses are controlled by a foreign-dominated cartel tied to Brazil.

The United States has over half a million cattle ranches. But almost all of their cattle must pass through a tiny number of meatpacking plants before reaching your plate. Just four companies control about 85% of U.S. beef processing — and two of them, JBS and National Beef, are effectively controlled from Brazil.

That’s not competition. That’s a choke point.

He's fine, and this predates Trump 2.

When he takes action, all the same Establishment Republicans and RINOs mocking him for not doing anything will start screaming that Brazilian Cartels are the free markets at work, and that Trump is a fascist socialist.

Well he can still do something about it. But I kind of want him to focus on deporting and prosecuting fraud.

The translation of 'free markets' in the Clinton/Bush/Obama sense has become "destroying your self sufficient home grown industries with unfair market practices of foreign entities to reverse balance of trade in their favor and allow them to control and weaponize markets to your disadvantage" i.e. destroying your society to prepare it for 'Globalism' and the NWO. It also means that these foreign entities can poison us and destroy the monitoring apparatus that used to be designed to protect us. With electronic chips, it means they can insert programs that at their will and their choosing can bring entire control grids down or as used weapons of war inserted throughout our infrastructures and against our election processes.

I've been pissed off about this for years. Lots of ranchers have made videos about it.

Too many monopolies. We need many many competitors in the market. 2 or 3 is not enough in any industry. Associations and governing bodies are a problem also.

Online marketing monopolies are huge. I have a few rentals, there is only one company that owns all of the marketing real estate. Everyone else is so tiny, it's not significant. Not my biggest problem, I'm more frustrated with widespread fraud everywhere centered around government dollars. Really makes me bitter about working when government takes my tax dollars and just hands it to various scammers.
