Decent West San Jose neighborhood.  Older home, but not the oldest in the area.

Before you click, think about what a 1794 sq foot, 35 year old house on a small lot should go for. It's in the Cupertino-Union school district, and the area is quiet and yards and homes are well-maintained, even for their ages.

The seller paid $126,000 in 1979. Thirty years later, what did somebody new pay? What would YOU pay?

Someone paid a million in June 2009? That is still insane. I'd pay $377,000 for that house. There are tons of good school districts in the U.S. within metropolitan areas that support good jobs where you can buy a big house for $350,000. Why is Cupertino still so expensive?

All you had to say was 'Cupertino Schools'... bham
dozens of Indian & Chinese parents would have lined up with MILLION BUCKS

(I am Indian, this is not profiling, just reality)

Soon those schools will not need to offer PE classes anymore.
