I have been silent follower of this forum for months now. I moved to bay area from east coast and only term I have for this place is "Dumpyard" a "Trashcan"
In lot of states there is no state income tax but facilities states provides are amazing. Here it is other way around, even after gettign so much taxes from biggest companies of world, people are ripped off at every step.
Lot of places have seen real estate price corrections but here I see still my friends buying homes 6 times their salaries, with hardly 3 % down, i wonder if ever sanity will prevail here or is this place only for gamblers?
