Avoid Wall street Journal

Avoid Barrons

Avoid reading yahoo finance news links

Avoid CNBS and Loomberg....

Once you do that, your chance of success in finanical markets substancially increase.

Most of finanical media is fraud. Look at today's news bites in patrick.net front page. Self proclaimed pandits claiming S&P overvalued by 40 %. Perhaps it is overvalued. But the fact that they even come out with exact numbers by which it is overvalued, should make you very skeptic.

Another worth mentioning is the Nightly Business Report on PBS.
Their "news" is little more than asking Wall St. and the NAR for market directions.
They have never interviewed a contrary viewpoint, such as Shiller, Schiff, or Roubini.

True. The whole program consists of showing Citi went down 1 cent, Cisco went up 20 cents and then bunch of self proclaimed gurus claiming they know which direction market will go....And voila you have a program that takes up 30 minutes.
