I am guilty as charged. I NEED another 5-6 long guns, a pistol, and revolver because I might need those. At this point I am limited by the space available in gun safe. Advice to Patnetters - buy gun safe which can hold at least 20 long guns when you start your gun purchases which will invariably turn into hoarding.
I can imagine that this may be an adaptation to our evolutionary history of needing to be ready for attacks by other men.
Those who hoarded weapons may well have left more descendants than those who did not.
As long as it doesn't come at cost of other things.

It comes out of my beer budget!!!
Hoarding is another made up word to lump serious collectors in the same social disorder pile as a slovenly Liberal living in a 6 foot pile of their own filth and stacks of news papers.
Where does the 2nd amendment set limits on the amount of guns SHOULD own.

I have a hunch that all these COVID blockades are related to "run on bank money"
At the height of the housing bubble here in the US, construction spending was about 8% of GDP. Then is just sorta stopped.
Just before Covid, construction spending in China was about 25% of its GDP. It has sorta stopped cause their bubble is much bigger than ours was. Based on their population, that means about 100 million Chinese are out of work. They just don't realize it yet.
With that many unemployed, they don't really have a financial system.
Anal cholera implants. No need engineers already; over built infra-structure and they earn BIG YUAN!
They dont even plan. Low teamwork.
Some had these dinky inefficient bags causing them to have to 1 by 1 things into it instead of just tossing full trays into a large open mouthed bag. Had they worked together, with some holding open a large bag while others looted things into it, they would have greatly increased the yield.
The self centered dindu at the end who was holding his friends up was probably like "I gots to get mine. my time to shine. jea!" as he looted and looted and ignored his friends warning him their time had expired.
Dumb asses. Then again this isnt surprising - if they had half a brain they could prob hold a job like the rest of society and not need to steal from those who work.
At least they used gloves.
Looting hard earned money of men by flattering self centered women.
I don’t own jewelry and never will.
I tend to think that people who are into jewelry (particularly men) tend to have insecurity issues and a bit of a screw loose.
practical purpose(safety and can be used as shield or weapon)
how much climate-related loss richer countries have caused poorer countries through their carbon emissions.
Double horse shit. First, China and India emit most of the world's "greenhouse" gas. Secondly, that heat and sun is not new - it has been around long enough for those locals to evolve dark skin.
