As a president he could negotiate before or after ( if he became the president) the election. He was in his rights to communicate with him at the time and not infringing on any other administration.

Show me where it's a crime for a PEOTUS and his incoming admin to ask a foreign ambassador to delay retaliatory sanctions.

By the Way, Logan did much the same thing - the Quaker negotiated with Tallyrand for a French pledge not to impress US Sailors. And like the Democrats, Adams was butthurt and got his pals in Congress to pass the Logan Act, which is a dead letter law that has never resulted in a single successful prosecution in 200 years.

Why was Adams butthurt? He was Anti-French, just like the Democrats are Pro-Saudi and Anti-Russia.

It's not 'the answer'. But it does "show" an actual willingness to work toward addressing the problem. It "shows" value and building in "a" cost to what we are doing.

Just agreeing we should "do something" appears to be at issue here. A carbon tax is small potatoes.

I think this is a typical liberal do-gooder impulse. We need to "show" we care. We need to "do something" even if it won't have any appreciable impact to the problem other than to make us "feel" good about ourselves. Worse, this doing something can cause real human harm. Any meaningful carbon reduction program is going to have to include the 3rd world and countries like India and China. Is it really fair to make it harder for these billions of people from trying to claw their way to 2nd and 1st world living conditions?

The entire span of human history is about migration adapting to changing climates and environmental conditions. Less than 10,000 years ago, much of the US was under miles of ice. I believe we have time to innovate and can adapt or outrun the worst aspects of climate change.

Nothing mankind can do will impact the march of global evolution. We are all toast so stop being pussys and accept your fate to be ripped apart at the molecular level and reassembled thousands of years later as some alien fuck who couldn't hit the broadside of the galaxy if his starship depended on it...

Additionally, the melting of sea-ice has a positive feedback causing more warming because the ice that reflects sunlight no longer exists. Hence, melting sea-ice is an important indicator and multiplier of climate change.

During the fourth quarter, Berkshire added another 42.1 million shares of Apple (AAPL), bringing its total investment to 57.4 million shares, or 1.09% of the company’s stock. That position was valued at more than $6.6 billion at the end of 2016.

No more pushback since I fought off the bogus DMCA takedown.

Ironman is objecting to the "ad hominem" link by each comment, which sends the comment into moderation, where if I find it was simply a personal insult, I delete it.

I know personal insults are fun, but they were drowning out real conversation.

Many of the Chemists, Fluid Scientists, Biochemists, Nuclear Scientists, Mechanical, Thermo, and Civil Engineers who will be required to do all of the world-saving R&D were the very ones the "Climate" Scientists wouldn't include in their AGW Consensus stats. Scratch chin here.

Luckily, other than scaring the hell out of people, there is very little for Climate Guys like Gavin Schmidt and Michael Mann to do at this point.

I admire, however, the concentration on new materials, practical science, and engineering as an alternative to carbon taxation.

"We'll punish our carbon polluters if you punish yours."

It is impossible to prevent those political plans from turning to an insider's scam.

There have been a few times when that would be very bad advice. In two famous times the money supply had driven a stock market bubble.

This is a chart showing the correlation between the money supply and the S&P

Twitter has shaddow banned Pro Trump comments so that only people bitching at him and calling for his murder gets shown on his profile.
Then they even throttle who sees Trump's Tweets, so the people Trump intended to see his Tweets don't but the people who hate him does.

Trump should announce he's going on Gab platform. Then when he comes and the 100's of millions of people follow, then Twitter goes to shit.
Gab should then start doing the dark Orwellian dictation of the narrative and censoring everything the Liberal agenda tries to put out.
Then and only then would Liberals be calling for the bullshit they are doing right now to be illegal punishable by firing squad. They would go nuts if Gab suppressed all of Trumps critics on Gab and out right banned Liberal posters for life. While allowing any rightwing speech 100% open without question.

Come on Trump ditch Twitter and get on GAB let's light this puppy!

Co2 is a .03%-.04% of the atmosphere so any theory this causes warming is totally flawed. The temps are warming slightly that is a fact it seems though we can do little to change natures course other than panic and make people believe the sky is falling which is something we can do.

This is great, and I support severely Mentally Ill people and the households they live in from possessing firearms.

The rules are so vague people with sleep or eating disorders can have their 2nd Amendment rights pulled - by the Soc Sec Administration ?!?!?!

The Soc Sec Administration can declare you Mentally Ill, that's the most moronic thing I've heard. You have to sue to prove you're okay.

The ACLU and Mental Illness Advocacy Groups are also opposed.

For the pop which both are likely to do. Canadian dollar is killing it and the Australian and New Zealand
dollars are just under CAD performance which is a nice correlation as to metals heading up.
Long term I'm of doubt that gold is going to break into a confirmed upward trend just more counter trend
opportunity.

What has the historical ratio been?

Also, isn't silver mined at a considerably faster rate than gold, implying that that ratio should grow forever?
