This is by far the biggest over-pricer I've seen by a real estate agent. This even super cedes 90 Belhaven :)

What's with agents getting listings only because they were able to convince the seller that their home is worth more than what it is?

agree that the price range is too high for that area of Daly City. I suspect it will struggle to find a buyer at that price point. At that price, any reasonable person will look hard at Millbrae (or the area next to the Golf course separating SF and Daly City) instead.

Hmm I've never thought of it like that. You are right. At $729k, I'd pick up a home at Westlake Olympic #1 (the area next to the golf course) instead. Heck, you can pick up a nice one for $680kish there. But all those homes are split level (which people actually like alot) versus these 1 story ones (2 floors) where they can renovate a rental unit.

There will always be demand but purchasing is all about value and the cost to attain that value. If a mid size Lexus is priced close to a mid size mercedes, no reasonable person will buy the Lexus. Either you ask the Lexus dealer for an appropriate discount relative to the mercedes or move on to the Meredes dealer. Thanks for pointing out the olympic section of Daly City, that was what I was thinking.
