The thought of 500,000 people suddenly hitting the job market in California if/when the DREAM act passes is scary. It seems unlikely that the CA economy can absorb so many new workers. On the flip side, if we suddenly have lots more employed workers, then presumably the housing market will get a big boost and prices will go up.
