Obviously the guy writing the story hasn't a clue what he's talking about. Granted these area's could very well be the butt of jokes along the lines of Florida Swampland for sale like they were before the bubble, but eventually they WILL recover and even experience another bubble. I remember hearing stories about people buying Florida swampland, but I never knew where it stemmed from. It was a reference to Great Florida real estate bubble in 1926 to 1927. Florida Real Estate experienced a bubble so big that it makes our more recent bubble look sane in comparison. When it collapsed, it took almost 80 years for the next bubble in Florida real estate. Never is a really really long time, obviously the author of this story hasn't a clue.
Sears is in trouble ... a $44B company? I thought K-Mart, Sears, and OSH were all under the same roof (?)
That distrubs me. I really like Sears. Alot.

Huh? I re-read the story posted above and there's no mention of Sears anywhere in it, What the hell are you talking about. Try to Focus and remain on topic.

I checked it out - it was 9 companies that will be crushed this season... Sears, Hot Topic, Kohls, Big Lots, Aeropostale, American Eagle, Rite Aid, Lowes, Office Depot.
They should have the top ten reasons these lists are ridiculous.
Bap33 DO you happen to know how much a cup of tea is in China?
Bap, I'm shocked, stunned even, that you don't know how much a cup of tea costs in China. Because that, my friend, would be staying on-topic.

Brought to you by the guy who says real estate will NEVER recover in 10 cities.
"You will never be able to buy if not now" - Over heard one of the coworker who owns(since 2006 :)) telling other who does not own.

I've been hearing that tired old saw since I moved to the bay area in 2005.
Yea, I was talking to a guy in Vegas who is looking for a house because his realwhore told him that housing couldn't possibly cost any less than it does now...
...notice how I inserted realwhore for the evil word. I'm sure that the Naturally Assholic Rabble rousers (NAR!) will appreciate it.
"Never"? Hmmm...
