I don't think the air shouldn't be too bad by Monday though as the humidity is lower. It was thick the last two days for here at least. Went from 90% to 50% humidity which helps.

I don't see how this isn't intentional. Two of the territories are actively going to have referendums on the ballot for secession from Canada. Alberta and Saskatchewan. Red is out of control fires. Manitoba has a lot too. That's a cluster fuck of fires.

My first interaction with a Canadian was in the 1980's. I dialed a phone number in the Midwest and I got it wrong. I got the wrong number to some place in Alberta. A lady picked up the phone and we quickly realized I had dialed the wrong number. But, the lady just kept talking to me. She was so damn nice. It was like she had made a new friend.
Next interaction -- Canada in 1998. I drove through Windsor heading to Toronto. My piece of crap car broke down. No cell phones in those days. I hopped a fence in the rural area and went to a nearby house.
The fellow inside actually answered and opened the door!! Got the local towing company called and could not have been more kind, helpful, nice, (I am running out of words).
