Selling at 2007 price would be funny. Though I don't see similar skyrocketing prices in the same neighborhood. Looking at the comparables redfin is showing, almost all seem to go around ~$500-$510/sqft. Nevertheless, you only need one buyer to buy it, and it looks like there is always one sucker to come and bid around the ask price regardless of the market :D

Is it me or are there really a group of buyers out there willing to pay anything, even for not-so-top-schools areas? I saw this overpriced listing pop up in Sunnyvale listings, and it went pending in less than a week, perhaps at or close to list price considering that it went pending fairly quickly.
What is up with these eichler-type houses? Granted, they are bright with the large windows, but would these beams on sticks structures stand up against an earthquake?
