Nothing says modern masterpiece like those flower pots. Someone bring me the head of the stager...
is this home the closest I can get to heaven?
If your idea of heaven is:
The backyard beckons to engage one in a prodigious orchard of mature, fruit-laden citrus trees. Recreate to enjoy the seclusion of the azure hued pool and Jacuzzi.
then yes. If your idea of heaven does not include a thesaurus app, then no.
That zip code sells for $514 / sqft
This house has 6700 sqft
6700 * 514 –> over $3mm
Asking price of $2.3mm sounds reasonable. 3 of the 4 closest listings are asking over $4mm.
That listing doesn't show comps for some reason, but another listing on the same street shows $351/sf average. And the closest listings average about 1.3 million. There are as many under 1 million as there are over 1 million in that area.
91011 includes the super-exclusive properties on the other side of town.
all those Flintridge retirees living off social security sure can afford 2+ million out there.
It looks like someone built a custom house, so this is not apples to apples from the 1999 sale.
Actually, someone bought a dump in 99 for 476K and demolished it and rebuilt your idea of heaven in 2001. Hence the price jump to 2+M.
Not surprising. This happens all the time in the Fortress areas of the bay area where you can see demolition and rebuilds of tract homes - so many of them under construction if you drive around the streets.
I am scratching my balls in disbelief..
