The problem the PREVIOUS owners had with snakes was all over the local Idaho press back in 2007. How these guys ever missed out knowing about their famous "snake house" baffles me.
The scum bag realtor told them it was a myth the previous owners told to skip out on their mortgage. So they knew about it but the realtor convinced them it was not true.
I think the buyer was just as stupid for not having due diligence. And he too walked on his mortgage. They should just house arrest them to the property.
I also wonder what would happen if Chase some how turns this property into a major money maker due to the snakes. Then the latest owner would try to reclaim it.
All you have to do is google "idaho snake house" and you get TV reporting from 2006.

Sounds like a good plot for a horror movie. Oh wait they already did that but on a plane.

Sure, when the buyer went crawling through the attic and the crawlspace, he jumped out and yelled, "THIS PLACE IS ALIVE WITH SNAKES!!" Mr. Scumbag realtor replied, "NO, NO, you're wrong! Those are BS snakes from the previous owner used to get out of his mortgage!"
And when the first page of buyer's building inspector's report said only, "HOUSE FULL OF SNAKES!!!" Mr. SBr said "I'll set you up with the best pied piper in Idaho!"
Wow. Convincing a buyer that's there's no problems in a house full of snakes is an awesome display of the powers of realtor Scumbaggery.
Here's the zillow page for the snake house.

Love the zillow info. They forgot to mention that it was infested with snakes, tho.
Garter snakes eat mice. Perhaps the listing should say, "Guaranteed to be mouse-free always."

Turns out the realtor was a bit of a snake himself. "They had signed a document that noted the snake infestation. They said they had been assured by their real estate agent that the snakes were was just a story invented by the previous owners to leave their mortgage behind."
Now the neighbors warn anyone looking at the house as they know the realtor is not going to say anything to jeopardize his commission.
