I'm a sucker for the terms of my debit card.
I have the money in the bank, I buy it.
Jesus, 30% in the days of less than 1% fed funds rate.
Amazing how one states' law can be forced into another state.
In the meantime I read last week only less than 18% of the Barney Frank Credit Reform laws are being enforced, in spite of them being in effect.
How can autopay be late?
Hahah, this is what makes Juniper, the bank behind Frontier MasterCard, extra lame. I could not actually set true "autobill" like I can with AmEx. They would send me an ebill/statement. Then I had to log onto the website before the payment date every month and schedule a payment to be drawn from my checking account. Pop up list for which number day you want payment to schedule, etc. What I'm guessing happened is I was picking the date got off by one didn't notice. Anyhow I never received notice for this just today noticed my APR was jacked up. Lady said it was that way since Feb. I had been checking that my last payment went through because THIS month unlike nearly all others I was going to let some balance carry over. Just went on a big trip lot of expenses was going to let a little ride until next month. Soon as I saw the interest I was going to be charged, I changed my mind paid off the rest and cancelled the card. Anyhow, lousy customer experience overall stay away.
I stuck it a while ago to the CC companies. They upped my rate and I cancelled my cards. Doing same thing TT is doing, using my Debit Card. No points, no gimmicks, just plain good old cash.
The problem with Debit cards is that they're not governed by the same laws. If you're ripped off, you might not get your money back & other stuff:

Yeah...isn't that Obama's job? To execute Congress' laws?
Yes - I called President Obama today to let him know I saw a jaywalker. I'll get back to you on that.
I told everyone to sign up
I find it irritating that I have that card, and since I wasn't new to it I didn't get in on that huge bonus. I wonder if calling and asking for something would have made a difference.
So, vincente. How many cards left in your wallet uncutted? :-)
Discover once did it to me. It was BS policy change on their part. I was like WTH, and whatever at the same time. I pay it off each month, they ain't gonna get a penny for the interest from me anyway.

Only this one:
At least so far, they've been pretty good to me.
Vicente:
Would you please show the photo of the back with the secret 3 number code so I can charge stuff?
Thanks.
Well they use a 5-digit code on this type card. It's:
12345
Oddly, it's the same combination I used on my luggage ;-)
Why not use credit unions instead of bending over for the big banksters?

My wife has to do that for our mortgage, it is the way we can pay with out a hefty service fee, and there is only a one day window for the no service fee.
I am ticked off, and cutting up my
Frontier Airlines MasterCard just now.
Logged onto the website to make a payment and check on things, and BOING! Saw my rate was 30.24% APR!
Got on the phone and somewhere an automatic payment was a day late and they immediately jacked my rate to the maximum.
I'm fed up with these USURY rates they didn't even offer to back it down so BYE BYE!
Down to just AmEx card now, can pay cash anyplace that doesn't accept that.
