in order to sue you first have to file a claim for damages. building codes do change, if they were up to code back in the days there isn't much you can do.
plenty of lawyers around, if they can't help they usually know who can look at the case.
There is no proof that the changes were not made after the original install was completed and inspected. Welcome to Tijuana Remodel blues. You have no recourse.
I spoke with my parents and they have all records so will ask some attorneys for advice.
My parents need help finding a good attorney to sue the county and building contractor who illegally installed power lines that were approved by the county. They had an electrician do an inspection recently and found that all the lines were run incorrectly when the home was built and not up to code! Yet the Butte County approved it when the home was built. What kind of attorney do we need to find to sue the builder contractor and county? Any ideas?
Thanks!
