But I'll accept your principle when it comes to the right to bare arms. You can bare the exact arms that were available when the Second Amendment was written and nothing more. In other words, you can have a musket, but not a pistol, rifle, or shotgun.
Bearing arms is defined as "one man and one musket". We don't need to redefine arms to include sickos who want to shoot pistols, shotguns, and rifles. Those things harm society and harm children.

I don't give a flying fuck about whether or not your evil church recognizes a marriage or performs a ceremony, but I sure as hell am not going to tolerate the state discriminating against homosexuals when it comes to taxes, property-rights, spousal benefits, and thousands of other rights. Why? Because I'm a real American, and real Americans believe in equality under law.
You liberals are so caught up in this gay pride and pleasure seeking frills that you are missing the big picture and killing America, while pounding your chests screaming that you are true Americans with some special "rights".
So let me make it more clear for those who don't understand what is wrong with you people
1) Family.
Family unit, is a basic building block of every society. Family is what teaches young minds the important things in life. Family builds character, teaches goals, obedience and civic duty. Yet you constantly undermine family by promoting homosexuality, and drugs, and undermine obedience and civic duty. No wonder your child will just mouth you off one day, take up drugs, grow up gay, or do time in prison after killing you because you asked him to move up at the age of 40, you never taught him/her any better.
2) Media
All there is on liberal media is constant stream of adultery and filth. And that robs off on young minds who grow up and repeat that constantly advertised behavior.
3) Education.
Education is supposed to help a child develop into a complete adult by focusing on academics, character development, morality and social values. But you liberals didn't like that, because morality goes against your principles of gays, lesbians and adultery, so you filtered all the morality and character building out of education. 10 commandments out the window. Now education is nothing but some hollow useless art academia. And as result children are growing up in this society hollow, with no morals or social values. And one day those young empty souls will grow up to be bankers, and will take your shelter away. Good thing some of you can still add 2 numbers together without a smart phone and talk fancy about art.
3) Government overreach
When you filter out morality, you invite evil. And in an immoral society there will never be enough laws. But you don't care, you people just pile up more and more laws and filter out more and more morality. A government will beat a working man into submission to pay huge portion of his income as taxes, but it'll ignore the government crook stealing those tax dollars. Where is the morality in that, or maybe we need another law on top of the previous million laws making that illegal?

Gay pride parades aren't killing America. The use of spying, torture, selective enforcement of unjust laws, the erosion of the middle class, nonstop pollution, and the drain of wars is what's killing America.
Gay pride parades don't cause methylmercury poisoning in children. Coal power plants do.
Gay pride parades don't blow off the limbs of soldiers. Unjust wars do.
Gay pride parades don't cause miscarriages. Pollution does.
Gay pride parades are not the reason that America has the highest per capita incarceration rate in all of human history. Private prisons and the war on drugs are the reason for that.
Gay pride parades aren't causing the middle class to disappear. The corporate takeover of our government is doing that.
Gay pride parades have not committed a single act of torture. Our military has tortured countless people putting us on the same ethical level as the Nazis.
Gay pride parades haven't threatened freedom of speech and turned our country into an Orwellian wet dream. The NSA did that with PRISM.
Your bigotry has so clouded your judgement, you have no concept of what the real threats to America are. It's not cock. The real threat overpowering government that can treat human beings as property to be used and disposed and the corporations who turn crimes into acceptable legal behavior in order to maximize profits at your expense including your lifespan.
Anyone who thinks gays are the villains is a lunatic. It's the Paul Ryans, Donald Trumps, George Bushes, Lloyd Blankfeins, and Dick Cheneys of the world that are the real villains.
1) Family
No family has ever or will ever be harmed by the legalization of same-sex marriage. Many families have been torn apart from bigotry against homosexuals. Many families have lost gay children to murdering bigots. See Sam Shepard.
If you actually valued family, you would be supportive of gays. It is inevitable that either you have no descendants or some of those descendants are gay. There is no other mathematical option.
A man like you who would disown a gay son has no claim to family values. You, like every despot in history, are simply using children as a ploy to commit unjust acts. "Will somebody think of the children" is the battle cry of tyrants everywhere.
2) Media
If the media was actually liberal, the erosion of the middle class, the use of domestic spying, and the acts of torture committed by our government would be front page news every single day. Justin Beiber would never be mentioned. To call our media liberal is a joke.
Furthermore, there is absolutely nothing as filthy and perverted on T.V. as the Iraq War, Guantanamo Bay, or the use of drones to kill civilians. War, not sex, is the most vile pornography.
3) Education
Equal rights for all is a moral principle and a social value. Bigotry is bad morality and vile social values. It is every bit as appropriate to teach children not to be racist, sexist, or homophobic, as it is to teach them not to rob, rape, or assault other people. This is teaching them to be good citizens and how to stay out of jail.
The Ten Commandments are mostly vile. Worship a false god? Vile. Limit speech about that god? Vile. But it's OKAY to rape and hold slaves? No commandments against those things? Vile.
The only good commandments on that list are the ones completely rejected by conservatives. THOU SHALT NOT KILL. But conservatives are for war, the death penalty, and killing anyone perceived to be a threat. If you actually believed in the Ten Commandments, you would gladly lay down your life and the lives of your family rather than shoot they guy who just broke into your house. YOUR GOD COMMANDS YOU TO DO THIS. Your god commands that you die rather than take a life. And he'll reward you with an eternity of bliss if you follow that commandment.
Yet, you don't. Put in that situation you would fire first to kill, and make sure the other guy is dead, not just incapacitated. Why? Because not even you truly believe in an afterlife or your vile god.
And don't get me started on things like thou shalt not steal. Pollution is theft of public property. Corporations writing laws to enable them to profit at our expense is theft. It's more sophisticated than stealing someone's wallet, but it's the same damn effect.
3) Government overreach
There is nothing more evil and overreaching than a government that suppresses its people, and that includes homosexuals.
Finally, this thread has demonstrated just how much Christianity undermines the principles of freedom, liberty, and justice. As Fort Wayne has shown Christian values are fundamentally incompatible with American values.
Our country was founded on the principles that all persons are equal in rights and we all have the right to pursue happiness so long as we don't deny others that right. Now our country has never lived up to these principles, but we liberals and atheists have been pushing for them and gradually improving our country for two hundred years. Meanwhile, the Christians have been trying to drag our society back into the Middle Ages. As technology continues to advance, time is running out. If we do not reject the irrationality of religion, our species is doomed to destroy itself. Only through rationality and empathy can our species thrive and eventually colonize this galaxy. The fork in the road that divides these two fates is rapidly approaching.

The only issue I have with gay pride parades is that they are parades. I hate parades because they block traffic.
Gay pride is a great thing. One should be proud about his personal choice.
The individual's desire to seek pleasure is no less noble than any "big picture" grand scheme. Celebrating the individual's choice IS the big picture greater good.
