I seriously question whether it was Hillary or the DNC itself that is guilty of manipulation. I put it on the latter. And I believe the best explanation is that right or wrong, a lot of the smartest wonks out there thought that Bernie couldn't win the general election. I tend to agree with that. It's true that the youngest generation has less of a problem with the word "socialist." But the older 75% of the electorate (the ones that actually vote) is still highly programmed against it. How else can you explain that Bernie is basically the one and only well known self proclaimed socialist in government ? People that believe he could have won the general were dreaming.

Overall point taken though. They voted for hope and change with Obama and got more of the same. They were pissed. But they will get more of the same this time too, only worse. SCOTUS justices will be more to the right, and taxes will be lowered on the rich. Bigger deficits and worse economy coming.
