Damn. Just got burned on the switch back. 3 paragraphs on electric vehicles that I'll never get back on that AAA post. By the timing of your comment I probably missed it by 2 minutes. No biggie, but it was probably the best writing I've ever done.
This is far fetched I imagine. But is there anyway to display an icon for a post that is actively being commented on? More specifically, a user is typing in a response to a post or comment. Kind of similar to the iphone or other messenger services where you can tell the other person is typing. And maybe a gauge or something to show the response if multiple people are typing responses? Maybe show the number of people typing comments or a speedometer type gauge that goes up as more people are typing? This would be cool in a forum atmosphere like this, probably more effective with a bigger active user base, but I'm guessing it's far fetched as I mentioned.
Obviously a lot of comments on a post show activity. It would just be cool if in real time it showed who was in the act of responding. Could be dumb, but just checking to see if this chunk of shit I was throwing would stick to the wall.

That's actually a brilliant idea, and not all that hard with my newfound javascript skills!
I'll try to do it. But first, I'm bringing ignore back. Almost done with that.
Sorry about the loss of text, but I don't see how it happened. Why should you have lost anything due to the switch? The sites work almost the same. Back button didn't recover it?

I could be wrong, but I think you thought my comment about about the lost comment was Dan (jesus, I've reread this 8 times and I don't know how to word it better). I was typing in a long response in the AAA post from earlier today, that I believe I started on the node version. When I clicked to finalize the post there was some error message about no thread or comment and all my text disappeared. I then came here and saw you said you where switching back because of bugs. So I assume my comment box was on the node version when I started typing and prior to finalizing you switched it back to the php version. I'm guessing I clicked post (or whatever it is) after you switched back to php and that's why the error message came up. No biggie, I ultimately got my wisdom out there in that thread.
I keep checking. No ignore,yet?
You can ignore people by clicking their icon or username and then click "ignore" on their page.
@Patrick, you got rid of ban. Tolls being ignored can still comment on the author's thread. Ignore is a worthless function. We need ban.

I disagree, it is so much better to just hit ignore and remove all the noise from the excess posters (spammers).
please edit this and post just one video at a time, thanks

Thanks, will fix today.
Site is still mostly not working on my phone. Android using Chrome or Dolphin.

Crap, what happens? Do you see nothing, or does the submit button for comments fail to work, or what?
So one hashtag per line then.

Usually the page just doesn't load, and I see nothing. On some occasions, the first page loads, but nothing else works.
I tried to do more, but the regexp processing is kinda nasty because the hashmark could be part of a url,
I have an old Android phone with Firefox and it works OK there. Are you on wifi or the phone data plan when this happens, or both?
don't think the comment count on the user profile is accurate

You're right. Will fix. Thanks for pointing it out.
