Sniper saysThey have told us that they come from a different part of the town, as our neighborhood gives out better candy.
That wasn't lost on the local Drug Stores, as soon as the Greedy Fucks started teaching their kids how to spur their community and go steal from other communities kids.
Because the other community was richer, CVS, Walgreens, Publix doubled and tripled the cost of their bulk chocolate bags. You can't even find the cheap classic hard candies and peanut butter candies seasonally stocked for Halloween in individual packages anymore.
Those stores counted on Rich Suckers every year as they pushed the envelope.
This year it was $4.99 for 10 measly ounces of Chocolate and their paper wrappers. The candy is even thinner than last year so you get more paper.
The 5 lb bag was $27 I know chocolate went up. But peanut butter candies, taffies, and hard candies didn't. SO...
In America, Asians, meaning east Asia (China, Japan, Korea, etc) are considered a type of model minority, kinda like Armenians from a 100 years ago. They may have smaller/slanted eyes but for the most part, they're fair skinned and thus, fit the model of what's America's so-called melting pot. This isn't me, it's just how the mainstream thinks.
Snobby professionals, wanting the unwashed out of their 'hoods while puffing their chest and declaiming diversity.
"Immigrants are great - in the working class part of town, going to the working class poor people school. Not trick or treating near my McMansion, or attending my kid's highly rated school. Yay, diversity! Show compassion, build the half-way house for Drug Using Pedos in the poor neighborhood, nowhere near my gated community. I just fired the White Teen and hired a Mexican at half the price to mow my lawn! Now I can afford more lattes."

Says the guy who lived in Westfield and just couldn't take the fact that the kids on the other side of the tracks went to the same schools your kids did.
Now, it's been clear that over time, individuals of lower income communities have been coming over here, for trick or treating events.
Hey when I was 7 and 8 in Toronto

Wait ... you were there, all those years ago and you haven't been boinking Canadian hoes all this time? What's your problem?!
Seriously, my Boston area high school, put up signs, warning parents not to send their kids to field trips up in Montreal for fear of underaged drinking and strip clubs.
It took me years, to overcome that conditioning.
WookieMan saysWhile I don't have a problem with it and wouldn't want to prevent people from doing it. You have to admit, at least from a parents perspective, it's a bit tacky to go to a wealthier neighborhood. Poor neighborhoods celebrate Halloween all the same. The assumption that going to a wealthier neighborhood and correlating that to bigger candy bars is probably the reason a lot of these people are where they are in life.
Actually, I experience exactly that. We had a bunch of kids come by, many that we don't recognize. They have told us that they come from a different part of the town, as our neighborhood gives out better candy. Even though my neighborhood is considered the "wealthy" one in town, is basic bulk Halloween candy bought in big bags from Walmart different in the other parts of town? Isn't it all the same stuff?
My guess is that houses over in the other part of town...
Could it be that parents don't want their kids shot, run over or perhaps get eaten by a pit bull?
The only reason we didn't trick or treat in our area is because it was too damn far between houses. We always went to townhouse communities for that reason. Pompous ass much? The teaching moment for kids is thinking smart and working hard is better than simply working hard.

Lol, the justice is poetic.
It is indeed the rich neighborhoods who support mass immigration of cheap unskilled labor to drive down wages for the native-born working class. They should also get to enjoy a tiny bit of the downside of that policy on Halloween.
Asian-Americans, meaning ppl from China, Korea, Japan, etc, don't see Indian-Americans, as real Asians.
Would you like me to post all that money you "made" on the Westfield house. Is that what you're asking?

Excerpt: 'Found by the front door of the house, the handwritten sign read: "Due to the fact that people from other neighborhoods truck their children into this neighborhood by the dozens, this house will no longer be handing out candy. Thank you for ruining Halloween for us and the children who actually LIVE HERE. Thank you for understanding, NOW GO AWAY!" '
Here's how I would have written the above ...
"People, realize this, America is not a true free country. In reality, we are separated by economic echelons, along with race and religion.
Now, it's been clear that over time, individuals of lower income communities have been coming over here, for trick or treating events. Well, let me tell you ... you are not welcome anymore! Here's why ... you don't have the socioeconomic clout, to hang with us folks. Got it? You see ... you are ghetto trash and only deserve to hang out with other shitheads like you. We only want high income white and perhaps, high income Asian ppl, in our neck of the woods. Sure, a rich Beyonce or J Lo is fine, from time to time, but not a lot, esp ones who don't have at least $500K in their IRA accounts. I hope I'm making myself clear. "
