I liked the show's nod to forgotten art of vaudeville, bits and sketches. Since Living Color, SNL really, sketch comedy has to be edgy and dark, rather than witty and something you let kids watch.
As far as getting taken down, I don't see how any of the allegations against him were grounds for dismissal. He tried to pat a girl's back and his hand touched too much flesh for her. I remember those half blouses that were lose in the back. His defense is plausible. He didn't get a brother to take a picture of him groping the girl while She slept at least. It really is that stupid picture Loudmouth got his brother to take of him groping the USO costar, that did Al Franken in. He could have shrugged off accusations, non of them(That I'm aware of) were solid enough hear say evidence to say he did anything wrong.
I bet if you could bottle Joy, Bill O'Riley could make millions right now.
A reminder why Radio is TV for ugly people.
But really, PBS? Not airing his old shows? Are Prairie Home Companion Shows going to grop listeners through the radio?
The Onion is almost prophetic.
