"Portrait: RV resident Robert Ramirez, 54, has been living in his RV for about six months. Ramirez supports himself by collecting recyclable materials and also gets government assistance. He wishes he could park his trailer in a RV park for more stability in his life but he can't afford it."
Don't they have recyclables in Detroit? Does he really-really need to stay in CA for his "career"?
RVs are now CA houses of last resort
Dry-docking an owned RV in CA is my wet dream. While everyone else is ponying out +30% of their income on housing, I'd be spending that money on vacations, and living the good life of more financial freedom and flexibility.
This guy needs to move to Camden.
Learn to shoot.
Dumpsters are filled with racoons in Camden and Philadelphia.
He could live on that if he was good at shooting in the dark.
I'd love to be able to find a place I could consistently park that's free or cheap, and then occasionally pay a reasonable fee to hook up to utilities.
Looks like a horrible place to live:

That would be any Walmart parking lot.
