•"When I am told about our national heritage or about “civilization,” I am shown that people of my color made it what it is."
Even daring to mention the pervasive racism and sexism against white men in the bay area instantly gets you labelled as racist and sexist yourself.
"I can turn on the television or open to the front page of the paper and see people of my race widely represented."
•"When I am told about our national heritage or about “civilization,” I am shown that people of my color made it what it is."
•"If a traffic cop pulls me over or if the IRS audits my tax return, I can be sure I haven’t been singled out because of my race."
•"I can if I wish arrange to be in the company of people of my race most of the time."
If you read through the rest of the list, you can see how white people and people of color experience the world in two very different ways.

permeated with corporate cultures that seem biased against women and female engineers.
5. About different experience - why my Asian colleagues do not engage in complaining about everything?

Is this not true?
"I can turn on the television or open to the front page of the paper and see people of my race widely represented."
Given whites are the majority, this would be appropriate, normal, and from a marketing view, smart.

Regardless of what race the patient is, that patient may be inclined to chose the Jewish doctor.
If someone has problems with other races being around and is complaining about it, then perhaps that person is a racist.

My own father told me that when his family really needed a doctor, they would always try to get a Jewish doctor
My own father told me that when his family really needed a doctor, they would always try to get a Jewish doctor, even though he lived in an Irish neighborhood in Chicago and there were some Irish-American doctors. Kind of a "Jewish privilege" thing I guess.
Blame someone, anyone or anything when things go south
Sounds just like the current Potus now doesn't it ?
Blame someone, anyone or anything when things go south and lie about what you contributed when things go well.
If you want to terminate an hourly employee for cause without a lot of bullshit, you need to have a well documented case established of what it is that is not meeting expectations, any supervisory input to improve performance (warnings if you will), acknowledgement from the individual they have been counseled/warned etc. - long story short, if the case is well documented, it can be done quite easily.
Unions present a different set of problems but again not insurmountable.
Salaried people on the other hand unless in a union or a handful of state have little to no protections and can be let go on a whim without having an exhaustive documented case to back you up.
Upper management tried to placate this surge of outrage by shaming me and misrepresenting my document, but they couldn't really do otherwise: The mob would have set upon anyone who openly agreed with me or even tolerated my views.
Is there a union involved ? Is there something more than meets the eye going on between someone in HR the person in question ?
Whites used to be the majority in this country and that is fast passing.
Years ago, some feminist on the internet told me I was "Privileged."You do have privilege because being White is a privilege and it will always remain as such. Don't run from it as other races try to make you do, embrace it.
"THE FUCK!?!?" I said.
So i got pulled over for driving too fast on the freeway last month. I was fully cooperative with the officer (Asian male), who asked me some basic questions and then, surprisingly, let me go.
White privilege? Maybe. But perhaps it was a reapectful and cooperative attitude that convinced him that i wasn’t worth the paperwork to ticket. He didn’t seem happy with me, but he didn’t write me a ticket either. So what do you call that?

Occam's razor says that it was 99% the respectful and friendly attitude. 99% of the people don't give a shit about who you are as long as you have some manners. This dividing by race, gender, sex, etc. has become so stale and needs to stop pronto.
Skilled farmer populations that are white (supposedly, all of them) who rely on cheap migrant labor of the legal or illegal kind to keep those food prices down so the country can survive on the crap shit wages being paid by there employers.

A lawsuit alleges the search giant set hiring quotas for some technical positions.
A former Google recruiter was fired from his job for objecting to a company practice of rejecting Asian and white male candidates for technical positions, according to a civil lawsuit filed against the internet giant.
Arne Wilberg, who worked at Google for nine years, alleges Google set quotas for hiring minorities, Bloomberg reported Thursday. The lawsuit, filed in January in California's San Mateo County Superior Court, claims he was fired by Google in retaliation for complaining to human resources about the company's hiring practices, the news agency reported.
The controversy comes as Silicon Valley companies grapple with how to increase workforce diversity in an industry dominated by white men and permeated with corporate cultures that seem biased against women and female engineers. Google, Facebook, Microsoft and other tech companies now regularly release diversity reports, highlighting low percentages of women and minority employees, with few moving up the management chain.
Google had "irrefutable policies, memorialized in writing and consistently implemented in practice, of systematically discriminating in favor job applicants who are Hispanic, African American, or female, and against Caucasian and Asian men," according to Wilberg's complaint.
