Oddly, none of the Trumpers had a problem with me criticizing democrats and virtually everything they did during Obamas years.

After mods saw the personal attack and let it stand, it was only removed when I brought it to the attention of another poster, and s/he marked it as personal

Drbu had to do it for me, because the mods were giving it likes instead of taking it down for being a personal attack

Patrick has established many times that it seems (paraphrased) the truth for many is a very subjective thing and he'd rather let wild ideas (without personal attacks) stand than personal attacks, so there is no use in claiming to speak the truth or aggressively/repeatedly calling someone else out on a perceived lie, besides continuing the discussion with civility. So I think you are assuming that truth and free speech go together, but they don't, at least not from my understanding. In fact, free speech almost demands to let "lies" stand.
