The longer it takes for the name to come out - and they certainly knew a while ago, the more likely that name has a suffix like "Al-"

FUCKIN' KNEW IT!!!

Nasime Aghdam. Which is definitely a Caspian Area name. Not sure if Azeri, Persian, or what. And she was a Lefty.

The NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit has confirmed the identity of the shooter who opened fire on YouTube’s campus in San Bruno Tuesday. Her name is Nasim Aghdam, and she lives in Southern California.

Aghdam has a robust presence on YouTube. In a video posted in January 2017, she says You Tube “discriminated and filtered” her content. In the video Aghdam says her channel used to get lots of views but that after being filtered by the company, it received fewer views. In a Facebook post from February 2017 Aghdam blasted YouTube saying, “There is not equal growth opportunity on You Tube.”

The NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit has also learned the license plate on a car towed from YouTube’s campus Tuesday is registered to Aghdam. In 2014, she posted a video on YouTube of what appears to be the same car, stating that it was vandalized by “anti-vegans” because the car had a sign saying “meat is murder.”

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- Sources confirm to our sister station ABC7 News, that the YouTube shooter was a user of the platform. Nasim Aghdam has an alleged website with a manifesto that targets YouTube for censorship and demonetization of her video content.

RELATED: 1 dead, 4 injured in shooting at YouTube HQ in San Bruno

Aghdam is said to have no relationship with anyone in the YouTube facility.

Sources say Aghdam did not have an ID badge, but was carrying a purse, and that nobody in the facility knew who she was.

...

Feb. 20, YouTube enacted a new advertising policy that demonetized channels with less than 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watch time. Though Aghdam's main English channel had more than 5,000 subscribers, many of her videos appeared to be demonetized.

By the way, another thing -- exudes that 'overcaffinated' hyper-nervous Vegan energy. Some of her videos are still up.

Nasim does seem quite angry at YouTube:

So is the "boyfriend" story just bullshit?
62   MrMagic   2018 Apr 3, 8:52pm

Authorities don’t believe that Aghdam, 39, had any direct connection to YouTube. According to NBC News, she did have a YouTube channel. She often posted videos that included “rants” against the company, according to the information supplied by NBC.

“Nasim the Persian Azeri female vegan bodybuilder, also animal rights activist promoting healthy and humane living. Nasim produced and launched the first Persian TV commercial and music video (Do You Dare) regarding animal rights and veganism through international Iranian satellite Television in 2010,” read the “About” section on her YouTube channel.

Preliminary information suggests that the suspect targeted at least one victim in the shooting. According to KRON 4, the female suspect shot her boyfriend.

Although police have not yet revealed a motive in the shooting, sources told MSNBC correspondents that the motive behind the shooting appears to be a “domestic-related dispute” and not terror-related “in any way.”

“This woman came to the YouTube workplace with a specific target in mind; someone she knew, someone with whom she wanted to settle a grievance. She shot that person, she may have shot a second person who was with him, intentionally. We’re not sure about the third person,” Pete Williams said on MSNBC.

Yeah, I don't think she was an Islamist, I think she was a Lefty Vegan, and as we all know Vegans love violence and threats (see Durian Rider, Vegan Gains, and many others) combined with Youtube demonetizing her ass, made her flip.

75   MisdemeanorRebel   2018 Apr 3, 9:47pm

Boy, Youtube did not want this.

She's a Vegan, and she's a minority, and she flipped out over being demonetized really for no good reason. No cursing, no beheadings, no racial/religious talk other than "Don't kil the Chickens, Purdue!" type crap that all Vegans say.

It's not worth killing random people over, but figure this gal was just about making some money off her videos and maybe because she said "Iranian" in "Iranian Recipes for Fenugreek" (not exaggeration, she did have Iranian Vegan Recipes on Youtube) the rough and dirty and far from precise Algos that youtube employed decided to flag her channels. i think those social media policing algos are much shittier and primitive than the PR says and the investors are told.

I know that Lionel and the Amazing Atheist got their Syria videos demonetized, probably just because "Syria" was in the title, so it could be she was demonetized for "iran".

"Is youtube driving people to murder with their unjust and unfair content policing?" is a good talking point.

Exactly and How in the hell were the "Hostages", victims and people generally wanting to get out of there and go home treated like perpatrators.
They knew this lady was dead on the floor, they knew they fucking screwed the pooch again. The Police questioned her hours earlier before the shooting.
Yet they make bystander citizens do the perp walk with their hands above their heads and being frisked as they exited the building, and STILL the fucking bastads made them walk with their hands on their heads.

That will only have to happen to me once. I'll be the biggest thing on the news talking about that shit you can believe that. I will rent a plane and sky write the message over Washington DC they pull some bullshit like that on me.

Guns kill people all by themselves. Haven't you been following the Liberal narrative?
89   MrMagic   2018 Apr 4, 6:43am

OK, so she's 39 (pre-menopausal with all that's involved in that?), still lives at home, has no income anymore; has odd ideas, is very very angry; apparently no real social life and spends all her time making Youtubes. Um...........

Aghdam’s online antics were nothing new to those who knew her.

Alina Avanesian, Aghdam’s estranged friend, believed “something was wrong with her” after recording a music video with her and being slapped with an out-of-the-blue lawsuit that soured their friendship in 2011.

"She was off,” Avanesian, 48, told the Daily News by phone Tuesday night.

“Something was wrong with her, but wow, I never expected this,” she said after learning of her alleged role in the YouTube shooting.

The small claims case was eventually dismissed, she said.

"Her brain wasn't processing correctly when she sued me. Even in court, it was her own case, and she contradicted herself. There was something wrong with her," Avanesian said.

Ismail Aghdam said he reported his daughter missing on Monday after she did not answer her phone for two days.

He said the family received a call from Mountain View police around 2 am on Tuesday saying they found Nasim sleeping in a car.

He said he warned them she might be headed to YouTube because she “hated” the company.

Mountain View Police spokeswoman Katie Nelson confirmed officers located a woman by the same name asleep in a vehicle asleep in a Mountain View parking lot Tuesday morning. Nelson said the woman declined to answer further questions but the police spokeswoman did not respond to a question about whether police were warned Aghdam might go to YouTube.

Here we go, another one that Law Enforcement was warned about, yet she slipped through...

Was that on purpose..... AGAIN??????

------------------------------------------------------------------
Aghdam's father, Ismail Aghdam, told CBS L.A. his daughter had gone missing for a few days. He said he had called law enforcement in the San Diego area because he was concerned about her recent ire toward YouTube.

He said authorities contacted him Tuesday at 2 a.m. to tell him they'd found his daughter safe in her car in Mountain View in Northern California, about 30 miles from YouTube headquarters. When the family realized that was near YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, they told police about her recent complaints about how the company was "ruining her life." They claim police told them they would be keeping an eye on her.

-----------------

Ismail Aghdam said that, as far as he knew, she had never owned a gun and he had no idea where she got one. He said the family is "devastated" by what happened.

CBS News contributor Nick Thompson says he visited YouTube headquarters two weeks ago and there was essentially no security -- no metal detectors or anything similar. "You do have to badge through to get to the courtyard but I was able to just walk in there behind someone else when they opened the door," he says.

But please, don't hospitalize her and put her on meds, let her eventually run out of hotel money and she'll freeze on the streets.
