Agreed, this is the line I take away from the speech.

I like how the Democrat's rebuttal to Trump's wall is to tug at his supporter's heart strings over the promise he made.

They are trying to convince us that he made an empty promise he is not following through on, while outright telling him they wont fund the wall. And on top of that they have been nothing but obstructionists and have resisted Trump on every front.

How do they think this strategy of laughing at Trump for not following through on his campaign promises will be an effective one?

I have had 2 friends overdose in the past 10 years on drugs likely supplied from down south.

People are more often driving around our end of street park, selling drugs at night, leaving abandoned cars. A car fled a police vehicle. We saw a drug dealer in a fancy SUV have a satchel of drugs - (drove by on bike). Local Police have brought gang unit to our park, and the next day the gangbangers were out furious that their grafitti had been covered up.

Overdoses from drugs are on the rise.

That some of these people would use the sanctuary status is revolting. The increase of boldness in drug dealing has to be coupled with the sanctuary law.

I agree with Trump, but the Dems know that they will get more votes if they ignore the problem. The sanctuary policy lead to the death of this policeman in CA, but who know what else that criminal had done prior. If that deported criminal up in CA was willing to shoot and kill a policemen, hes willing to risk the lives of everyone else.

The dems are only thinking of demographics and filling their vote tallies in 2020. That they would risk the safety of US citizens to get more votes is frightening. This is modern Bolsheviskism?

Suggest a fast track for people with no record, and arrest of anyone who applies who is a wanted felon. He said not at all, it's very good for the Democratic party. You Trump supporters would love to paint a picture of democrats, that unlike you, don't believe in border security.

Most of us totally believe in it. The difference is I actually read and pay attention to facts. I believe that experts that spend full time on issues sometimes have insights far more practical and relevant than the bluster of Donald Trump.

FACT Increasing our southern border security has been an ongoing effort for many years with significant increases in what is spent both on maintaining, repairing and extending existing fences what Trump likes to cal HIS wall , but also increasing security personnel and all that go with them(vehicles helicopters etc).

Instead of working with congress (and sharing credit) for continued increasing of border security, Trump wants to make this a political spectacle and his great success. Does he have any experts that explain why his wall is the way to go ?

Does anyone even ask how many of the 2000 miles of border his 5.7 billion will cover ? Is this just a downpayment on something that's going to cost many 10s of billions ?

Is there a better way ? What do the experts think ? Are there really experts whose full time job has been thinking about Mexican border security for years ? Gee, I wonder what they think ?

You know how easy it is to vote in CA as illegal? Especially now with Ballot Harvesting? Do you need me to spell it out for you in steps? Because it really is stupid easy, all it takes is desire to do so. And guess what illegals have very fast? Babies! And those children grow up and vote, their parents become citizens and vote, and they vote Democrat since they are dependent on them via tax dollar showers.
