That would have been dickhead Obama and his wonderful Obamacare. That really put up some speedbumps that had to be dealt with.

1. I am better off financially and happier because I know we have a president who understands that importing millions of poor makes us poorer, not richer. He is the first president in memory who talks about defending the American worker. I am also better off because the Obamacare penalty is now gone, so I can drop my Obamacare and find some other insurance for a few years.

Personally, I'm about the best off that I've ever been. Trump should get some credit for the economy and reduction in global military tensions. He could have fucked those things up, but did not. Made them better.

I wonder if we can summarize the Trump vs anti-Trump arguments in terms of the overt text and subtext.

Pro-Trump, overt: economy, illegals, etc.
Pro-Trump, subtext: We are sick of preachy leftists using unjustified accusations to undermine the traditional order which brought us down to the present day. Sick of being told what we can and cannot say. Trump is great because he annoys them so much.

Better off. The number of times that I have told my boss and upper management at work to fuck off even shocks me. But they can't fucking replace me, and if I walk out or get canned I can get another job that is at least as good as the one that I have now, so I feel emboldened to speak my peace without fear now.
