America's next San Francisco.

I particularly liked around 8:00, when a crowd of left-wingers try to stop police from rescuing an escaped mental patient, calling them Nazis and threatening lawsuits.

Honestly the police should just go on strike.

The majority of our society is mentally ill.

The situation we're in is that we have a government we can't confirm that we've elected, that has bombed 7 nations over the last 20 years and lied about why they're doing it, which lied about Ukraine's CIA coup and is pushing toward WWIII, which just attempted to poison the entire US population for a minor disease with an experimental gene therapy that drug companies have been working on for 30 years, and 4 supposedly found a solution at the same time.

The MAJORITY of society are not "OMG! We have to do something about it" - the MAJORITY of society is "so what? This doesn't really effect me"..

Yeah, but you can buy heroin and inject openly on the streets, since all drugs are legal now. Try to look on the bright side.

I have found that the majority just do not believe it.

It's the 'Pollyanna Heinousness Effect'. If something operates at a certain threshold level of heinousness and evil, many people will react with instant absolute denial so that their Pollyanna world view is not tarnished. Satanists learned this a long time ago. Most people REFUSE TO BELIEVE what is killing them, making killing them that much easier.

Popular outdoor recreation retailer REI is closing its store in Portland, Oregon, due to the city’s soaring crime rates.

The company announced on Monday that it is shuttering the Pearl District store located in downtown Portland due to increasing local crime.

REI also revealed that it has suffered retail loss from store sales at the location.

In an email sent to members, the company expressed its sadness over the decision but explained that the Portland location experienced its highest number of break-ins and thefts despite actions to provide extra security.

PORTLAND, Ore. — There’s a relentless rhythm on the streets of any sufficiently large city in Oregon that’s become increasingly routine for everyone, regardless of where they sleep. Homeless people set up camp, then the city posts it for removal. Most of the time, the homeless people move to another location and the cycle repeats.

A proposed Oregon bill aimed to reverse that routine and even allow homeless people to sue for $1,000 if they are harassed or told to move. The legislation, House Bill 3501, is called the “Right to Rest Act” and it’s been introduced in Oregon before.

It's KommieKunt confiscation of public and private property by the deputized rabble, and another abdication of the nominal government job of keeping the population safe. Another psychotic Kommie law that has to wend its way through the courts to being declared unconstitutional.

These abdications will eventually lead to tax evasion and tax protest. It's the Kommies killing the tax base that lays their golden eggs, but they want primitive culture, anyway. These people have no literacy and are stupid. Soros smiles.

So it has gradually dawned on the geniuses in charge that the city/state took some wrong turns back in 2020 and may need to dig itself out by actually changing things. Back in August, Gov. Tina Kotek of Oregon announced she was forming a task force designed to help revive the city of Portland by carefully studying the problem and making recommendations.

Gov. Tina Kotek announced Wednesday she is launching a task force focused on bolstering the economic future of Portland’s central city, which continues to reel from converging crises…

The move comes as Portland’s urban core remains among the nation’s slowest to recover in the aftermath of the pandemic amid blocks of empty offices and storefronts as well as pervasive homelessness, open drug use and public safety concerns.

Today, Gov. Kotek announced she’ll be acting on the list of recommendations she got from the task force, which include adding more police officers and outlawing public drug use.

What? That's racist!

(Hey, it doesn't have to make sense, because wokeness never does.)

Over half of Portland residents want to leave city after defunding police led to sprawling homelessness and spikes in crime - as business is forced to turn to ROBOT cop to patrol its property
Majority of Portland voters would consider leaving the city if given the opportunity, a poll found
The shocking results come after defunding the police led to increases in crime and homelessness

People I talk to who have told me they escaped Portland because the mayor they voted for is too liberal and the place is to crazy for them also tell me their voting habits have not changed and make no connection and that they will still vote liberal in their new towns because everything there is fine. They are incapable of anything.

I mean think about it. Portland, Austin, and Seattle are all liberal shit holes because of the people who left California and moved there because they thought California was becoming unlivable. And they voted the same liberal way in these new cities. Then they will move from there and do it all over again never making the connection THEY ARE the problem.

I think the ultimate solution is for those people to escape their own resentments.

At Safeway in Tri Valley, I saw a woman across from the store entrance posing as a homeless, with her homeless junk spread around her and the usual signage of dire need. When I came out of the store, she was loading her 'homeless' stuff and her sign into a big stretch SUV. So, she was just a member of a beggar's ring and they probably took her and others from place to place to drop them off for a while before any authorities showed up to stop them.

It's like the flower vendors who deal drugs in Santa Cruz. A big white van picks them up and drops them off at their locations with an illegal tending the 'store'. Their guy by the park where I live is always nervous as a cat, almost always on the phone, and never responds if you pass and say hello. When the crazy gay guy lived across the street, I saw him down there buying drugs, but he was so crazy, he totally flummoxed the vendor by doing it in an obvious way while carrying on, it was kind of funny.

Oregon is just a weird state overall from my experience as a midwesterner visiting. Has that reputation as being weird. I substitute it with being stupid and of low education. I love the Mt. Hood area, but still it's weird. I have a favorite mountain and it's Mt. Hood if anyone has a mountain fetish. I just feel like the people living there are disconnected from reality.

For fucks sake I got chased down about to pump my own gas last time I was there. I totally forgot you need someone for that.... Again, stupid. Thinking of it now, do they have to plug your Tesla in for you? Serious question. That would suck to have to talk to a moron for 20-30 minutes versus 3 for an ICE fill up. Never understood why they do that. Canada was the only other place I experience the gas station attendant.

New Joisey, although I think they recently abolished the practice. Last time I gassed up there, the fucking attendant used my credit card number to charge shit at Home Depot.

Dick. It's a waste of money when the guy or gal could be doing something more productive when I'm fully capable of pumping my own gas. Guy didn't even check the oil like they did in Canada when I was a kid.

I'm a generous tipper, but I have no clue about the etiquette on gas pumping. I didn't give him anything. Whatever. I'm not tipping 3-5 seconds of effort. Now if he washed my windows, checked the oil (rental car so who gives a fuck) and did other basics I'd give a buck or two I suppose. I just don't get the practice. Jobs obviously, but it just raised the price of fuel which is still taxed. It's the definition of retardation.

Once a hipster paradise that prompted cable satire Portlandia, which told of residents obsessing about barista-made coffee and bike share schemes, this liberal north east coast city now looks more like a nightmare dystopia.

That is because two years ago Portland decriminalised all drugs — including heroin, cocaine, crystal meth and Fentanyl, under what was known as Measure 110.

I'm old enough to remember "conservatives"
of p.net arguing for ending any and all restrictions on hard drugs.

They have people to pump gas because their are some really stupid people that have trouble with something as simple as pumping gas. They also want to stop the the guys topping off their rental car on the way to the airport...

... who aren't used to the quality of Oregon Cannabis.
