After thinking about it, I have concluded that Republicans secretly like ObamaCare for 3 reasons:

1. They like that it forces people to buy a product from a for profit company

2. They can use it as an issue to win elections (ie: Elect me and I will repeal ObamaCare)

3. They have barely dedicated any time to eliminating it. They held a symbolic vote on repealing it, but they have not tried to defund it.

ObamaCare was designed by large corporations for large corporation.
It allows them to get even more of the government funds. (=tax payer money)
Both corporation serving Dems and corporations serving Reps just love it.

We are going to find out if a Republican wins the White House next year.

My money is on no repeal.

No repeal, neither any fixes that would add anything to healthcare. That's virtually guaranteed by huge corporations lobby.

The entire point of the new health care law is to force everyone to buy health insurance from for profit health insurance companies (the non-profit status of some health insurance companies is laughable at best). The propaganda alleges that this will bring everyone into the "pool" including the healthy young and this would drive down insurance premiums because cost per person would drop due to economies of scale.

In reality what is already happening and will continue to happen is that health insurance companies will continue to jack up premiums every year. Maybe the rate of increases will slow. The health insurance cartels are not benificent charities. They are greedy pigs feeding at the trough of misery and death. They have no interest in ever decreasing premiums no matter how much the "cost per person" decreases.

The entire point of a mandate is to force all of us to buy a product from private corporate insurers in order to enshrine the status quo so that health care remains a for-profit industry in this country that gouges the consumer and restricts access to only the priveleged few.

It's yet another nozzle of the sucking vacuum that the 1% uses to remove all resources and wealth from the 99% in order to increase the hoard of their vast holdings and/or send their wealth overseas to avoid paying any taxes to our country.

#1. Is a fact. It's the entire point of the law. There is no getting around it. As my college French Literature teacher would emphatically state, "C'est dans le texte!" (It's in the text.)

(I know... conservatives/libertarians/teabaggers/republicans have difficulty understanding what a fact is.)

#1, can't even be remotely proven.

Except that it can be proven:

From the website of the Gingrich Group (yes, that Gingrich):

It just proves that Gingrich is taking advantage of the fact that people hate being forced by the government to buy anything way overpriced...let alone health care.

Did you read anything I just wrote? The link fromt he Gingrich website is ADVOCATING forcing people to buy health insurance. Newt Gingrich supported the individual mandate as far back as 1993. Newt Gingrich was also employed as a lobbyist, I mean consultant, for a long time. For all we know, his clients could have included health insurance companies that benefit from the mandate. It has already came out that he was lobbying for Pharma.

What's the difference between republican and democratic politicians?

If people show enough individual responsibility they just might be able to spend 35 Social Security/Medicare years complaining about roly-poly colored people, homos with AIDS, wetbacks in the hospitals and every other mooch who is making life so expensive for the Red Team voter.
