To exchange ideas, techniques, hopes • Agri-tourism ideas explored A group of wine makers and grape growers from the eastern European nation of Moldova mucked through the mud of a vineyard in Galt on Wednesday, part of a State Department endorsed trip.
Wine from the Lodi area is quite underrated. Very decent stuff.
Never understood wine. The appeal. I've never found it appetizing and the "buzz" makes me angry for some reason. I'd like to get into it, but as a beer drinker the whole craft beer/micro brew wave has me thinking it's all bull shit. Craft beers are shit. So my mindset is wine is the same. Maybe I'm wrong?
I know multiple brewers and their beer is shit. Like pour gasoline on it and light it on fire. They then talk all hipster and say what hops and shit they put into it. I'm very blunt and tell them their beer tastes like shit. These are friends mind you. Lied for the first time in a while. Friend made a peach cider. It was smooth, but was shitty. I know that doesn't make sense, so I just gave the smooth comment even though it was shit. Single guy going through his 4th job in 5 months, so didn't want to bring him down.
