People argued that there was no bubble after extreme inflation cause by Government relaxation of rules, and gamers.

People argued that manufacturing reduction down to 5-7% was not an issue, that Malivestment was not an issue. People say that the US can outsource apple juice - Xerox and what would any Repubs dare complain? People argue that we can keep the interest rate near zero and have the banks goose up arbitrage of everything because a loan is almost like cash with near zero interest rates. People argue that we can grow the government to replace the manufacturing sector because we are gaming the other parts of the system(s). People argue that is sensible to spend > $700T per year on US legal costs, and then make TV shows about the geekiness of Scientists while those few Scientists scrap.
When we see the warning signs of malinvestment, some attempt to rectify the situation. Some double down on the stupidy. However, when those who stick up for Malivestments and a destruction of innovation start to rant then they in some way see an issue. This is likely why did Barney Frank defended the housing bubble increase even more in the last few years?

On Ayn Rand, I have not read the book but read the Wiki page on her family being stripped of their business during/after the Bolshevick revolution.
When I hear the word Objectivism, It make me want to read the book.
However, its not any more surprising that Rand would like capitolism when she saw the hard work of her family stolen by Communism than why my friend who escaped Afghanistan with her family loves George Bush and has proven to me that he was more for human/womans rights that any recent president. This even though he was imperfect in other ways.
