Republican Donald Trump has sparked anger by suggesting his supporters could stop his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton by exercising their gun rights. He said that Mrs Clinton would put liberal justices on the Supreme Court if she wins the presidency in November, threatening gun ownership rights. Speaking at a rally in North Carolina, Mr Trump hinted that gun rights advocates could stop her taking power. That sparked an online backlash, many accusing him of inciting violence. But his campaign team said he was actually talking about getting gun rights supporters to the ballot box to enact change politically. The remarks...

The media will jump on anything Trump says or does,

Yes, how dare the media keep using the man's exact words against him, in verbatim quotes.

(if you are a trump supporter, verbatim means word for word...)

Wonder why he didn't learn from Palin's target on Gifford? I guess I epextect too much. This is a would be president asking foreign nations to spy on his rivals. Those are the words of a traitor and despot in my mind.

I think Trump is about to enter full on baby whining mode: crooked Hillary, it's the evil media, and the election is rigged. I think he will try and create a save face way to bow out when the loss comes in.

- 3 Debates agreed to. Marvelous. :)
- Majority of poll sources, with ongoing polling, always show Clinton ahead

No, I'm not sure which Trolling company pays you to shill for the Dems. Why don't you tell us.

Sure--as soon as you tell me what Trump did yesterday. Was it a casual joke? Or was he appealing to Gun owners to get out and vote?

That's nice. Was it a casual joke? Or was he appealing to gun owners to vote?

Here, feel free to finally read the transcript,

Part of the problem is that Trump doesn't speak in complete sentences.

If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is. I don’t know. But — but I’ll tell you what. That will be a horrible day. If — if Hillary gets to put her judges — right now, we’re tied. You see what’s going on.

Here's my attempt at a translation.
If she gets to pick her judges, [there is] nothing you can do. Although (meaning on the other hand), maybe the second amendment people can do something [even if she is elected and gets to pick her judges].

Any half literate person could say something like this: If she gets to pick her judges, there will be nothing you can do. The only way you can prevent her from taking away your second amendment rights is to get out there and vote. Vote for Donald J Trump. The NRA is a huge voting block, yada yada.

Because he speaks in phrases, grunts, and speculation (maybe, I don't know, etc.) instead of sentences, it's anyone's guess what he means. We can only tell what he says, and what he meant is really irrelevant in this case. The mind blowing thing is that he always refuses to clarify his half-literate ambiguous comments.

Get the lead out everyone! I want you to vote! Hit your targets. Make you mark. Remember, people have died for the right. Make it count.

Oh my gosh! PNeters are so horrible. Are you going to misinterpret what I mean?

A joke about what??

I don't know--you are the one that posted it.

Media Freaks When Donald Trump Jokes About the Second Amendment, Stays Silent When HIS Life Is Threatened.

The lamestream media cartel is FREAKING OUT that Donald Trump made a casual joke about Second Amendment unity during a campaign rally on Tuesday. Media elit-o-crats insisted that Trump was calling on Hillary Clinton to be assassinated if she’s elected so she can’t nominate anti-Second Amendment liberal justices to the Supreme Court.

49   Rew   2016 Aug 10, 1:53pm

What he said in bold. With what the uneducated, who he loves, heard in italics.

If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do.
If she is elected, WE ARE ALL GONNA DIE!
Although, maybe the second amendment people can do something.
But you can kill her ... KILL HER WITH FIRE!

The rule of communication is actually: "It doesn't matter what you say. It matters what the person hears." That probably seems pretty asinine and infuriating to some. Believe me when I tell you, it is absolutely true.

See, one of you TDS fanatics get it. Now please explain that to Tatty, he's just a bit slow.

OK--well, you need to tell the guy at heatst.com then. He didn't get the memo either.

Keep pushing the two party meme

Sorry, but if you keep blowing authoritarians like Trump, you're getting a one-party state.

So, you guys make yourselves out to be even BIGGER assholes by jumping to your own conclusions, instead of getting clarification directly from the source.

When it comes to inciting others, it only matters what is said and if it is reasonable to think it would incite violence. What was meant doesn't matter so much in this case.

Ironman says

Really, have you been living under a rock this past year? Your liberal media friends ALWAYS take what he says out of context and he has to spend the next three days trying to put it into kindergarten language so you CAN understand it.

Like I said, he speaks in ambiguous phrases rather than complete sentences, and he regularly refuses to answer questions to clarify what he meant. A favorite response of his is 'I said what I said,' or something to that effect. This happens routinely with Trump. It's not everybody else's fault. It's Trump's fault for being illiterate in the first place, and obstinate when questioned about it.

Trump doesn't need to simplify his language. He needs to make it more explicit and use unambiguous complete sentences. For people who are used to communicating clearly, hearing Trump murder the English language is tiresome and painful.

That's what we have NOW, idiot.

Then vote for Hillary, since both sides are the same. I mean, what's the difference?

Poor Donald. I think he has always been the kid who picks the fight, sets the tone, and then suddenly doesn't want to play anymore when he starts getting beaten.

You must have been a lot of fun to be around in the Reichstag, back in '32 or thereabouts.

Good, so you've given up on Trump then? Because last I checked, the Heritage foundation was a huge part of the establishment and they are basically running Trump's fiscal policy.
