I am surprised they even announced their blackmail publicly. Well lefties are so sure of their version-it is like the jihadis who kills a bunch of innocent women , children and men and then shout from the rooftops they did it. They are so proud of their actions. The lefties are the same-so sure of their ideology, that they cannot consider themselves to be wrong.

But hey, I bet you're not going to denounce capitalism for blackmailing a minor to protect revenue streams. I mean, that would require you to apply your principles consistently.

And still waiting, FortWayne. Come on, you denounced the blackmail as evil. Now admit it's evil caused by capitalist greed.

He who is silent is taken to agree.

Now they are denying the plain meaning of their original publications... Sad

The REAL question is: If Bill Clinton commits a rape during CNN news hour, does anybody hear about it?

55   bob2356   2017 Jul 8, 5:27am

Christ you guys are desperate to believe in bullshit. Cnn says it was a middle age guy they talked to. The guy posted an apology on redditt. The pizzagate clown was the one who tweeted it was a 15 year old. It's true because I believe it should be true rides again.

I have to give CNN (not at all a news source I would use) the benefit on this one.

Nice bit of stupidity with the refugee pictures zzyzzx. Way above average for you.

Saw the link, link doesn't show proof of anything. Just makes unverifiable claims.

The links, within the link/story, show that the photographs continually are used in reference to the same bombing in Aleppo. It is the same girl. It is the same attack.

(sigh) If you don't at least start from a place that there is a chance you are wrong, you will easily be fooled by people telling you things you want to hear, or playing off your emotions.

You would need a CNN article which shows any of those three pictures not associated with Aleppo. Find that, and I'll call CNN "Fake News" with you and follow the original tweeter that started this.

So you are saying the claim that the pictures are of 3 different bombings are verifiable. Go ahead, verify that. LOL.

And still waiting. I guess FortWayne is too scared to address the real issue. CNN is a business, and as a business it will do unethical and immoral things for money. That's capitalism in a nutshell. Don't believe it? Listen to a true capitalist speak.

At least CNN is getting it's comeuppance. It tried to silence speech criticizing it and now is experience the Streisand Effect. CNN's blackmailing a minor has caused it to be associated with fake news, rightfully or not, and so it's hard to have any sympathy for these assholes. Of course, that doesn't make the alt right correct. Everything they publish is fake news and propaganda.

CNN's blackmailing a minor ...

He is a middle aged man.

This whole thing is just outrage fiction. Both CNN and Trump love the attention though.

That is a separate issue. Capitalism is one issue, morality is another. Founding fathers intended for our system of self governance to be ran by "moral men". Christian moral men. Great moral leaders promote morality.

Happy now Dan?

You cannot separate a system built on greed from morality.

You still haven't man'd up and admitted the truth. CNN blackmailed a person to protect its reputation and revenue streams. Although the attempt backfired, it was clearly motivated by capitalistic greed, not liberalism. Admit that if you are at all capable of telling the truth.

I'll agree that it wasn't motivated by liberalism. Capitalism? Well, sort of. Oligarchs are sort of at the stage where they've "won" capitalism and are at the naked power grab stage where they attempt to convert their billions into political power. One of the favored means of achieving this goal is to buy media companies and promote a message. This propaganda can't be allayed to strict capitalism, as it has no money motivation, and only a political motivation. The owners of the MSM aren't as interested in profits as they are in achieving political power, and THIS is why the message from the MSM is so consistently Leftist (not liberal! I defer to your definition).

This is true. Note also the Saudi ownership of Twitter stock which gives them influence over its editorial actions.

This is motivated by their lack of morality, not by capitalism. Capitalism has nothing to do with this, because was this communism they'd do the same thing. Stalin was a murderer regardless of the system, CNN morality isn't going to change based on the monetary system around them.

There was no financial gain in their actions, just propaganda.

Make no mistake, it's all about money. It's all about the revenue streams created by eyeballs.

Yeah, in fact the problem would be far worse in a communist regime. This has zero to do w capitalism, and everything to do w power.

One, only a fool thinks that communism and capitalism are the only choices. Two, it has everything to do with CNN trying to protect its revenue streams. Greed motivates people to do bad things. Is that really so hard to understand?

A 5% share in stock gives them influence over editorial actions? Is this a joke?

What you're too poor to understand is that greed isn't just for money. Money is and always has been a stand in for POWER. At some point, money ceases to directly buy power and other tactics must be used to increase ones power. In a Democracy where the people decide who holds power, the path to power is through public opinion. Owning media allows one to help shape that opinion to desired ends.
I really feel that someone intelligent would get this. Shit test, Dan.

No, most people like being rich because you don't have to work and you get a lot of luxuries and a lot of pussy. That guy sailing on his yacht isn't thinking about power. He's thinking "damn, my life is good".
