A college in Massachusetts burned down an American flag after trump was elected president. It was replaced, but at half-staff to reflect the mixed emotions people have with the country. This is a snip from the Washington Post:

"at many campuses, minority students have been targeted and harassed since the election, with swastikas scrawled on doors, women’s hijabs yanked off, black students called racial slurs, and racist posters glued to campus walls."

It's evident that this president isn't doing much to "unite" the country. And that's going to be a problem if he wants to get his agenda through. I'm in agreement with conservative policies and I'd like to see those implemented (limited government, reduced spending, etc), but he'll need to stop being divisive (trashing the other side) and be willing to reach across the isle to get things done.

It never ceases to amaze me how different a narrative can be depending on which side is delivering it.
