Good points by Sam Harris. Love the Graphics in the videos, too.

Noam Chomsky: Antifa is a 'major gift to the Right'
The left-wing "Antifa" movement is rising in prominence after clashing with white supremacists in Charlottesville, Va., but one progressive scholar says the anti-fascists feed the fire they seek to extinguish.
"As for Antifa, it's a minuscule fringe of the Left, just as its predecessors were," Noam Chomsky told the Washington Examiner. "It's a major gift to the Right, including the militant Right, who are exuberant."
We liberals want nothing to do with the left or Antifa.
Antifa and the stifling of speech on college campuses is not right. Antifa get's the anti-fascist part right, but the communism, anarchy, and violent methods are pretty easy to condemn. I don't really associate the Clinton's with that, though, and the Clinton foundation accepting cash from various places wasn't a reason to vote Trump, IMO. Even if the Comey fiasco tipped the election, it's still Clinton's fault for letting it get that close. Dore (and Harris to a small extent) confused the issue a bit by not stating explicitly that those are two separate questions.
Calling Trump a racist was counterproductive for the following reason. Everybody who thinks Trump is not a racist felt that Clinton was calling them a racist every time they heard it. It didn't help that she called half of them deplorable (racist), which, IMO, is pretty accurate, but incredibly dumb. Let's face it, 99% of people think that they are not racist. 99.9% will say that they are not racist. Trump says he is the least racist person you will ever meet. The word racist has lost a lot of it's meaning. It would be interesting and probably more productive to try to discuss the issue without using the word.

Wow, the trolls hate me so much that they even dislike posts of mine that support their positions like Antifa sucks. I really butt hurt them. It makes me smile to realize how much emotional pain I caused those #snowflakes.

Dan, I have no problem with you. On most topics you are very articulate in your presentation and analysis. I don't always agree, but no two people will agree on everything. But why do you even acknowledge a dislike like this? You know they clicked dislike to troll you. This then starts a domino effect (I never remember if it's a or e, so don't care if it's wrong). Whether you're right or wrong on anything, they got the reaction they wanted out of you with the comment you made. Whether you think you hit them hard with your response or not, they already won. I mean, it was just a dislike, not even a comment.
My take is just ignore it. But you've been commenting here substantially longer then I have, so maybe you're finding this an effective way to deal with it. I just keep seeing the same pattern over and over though as a mostly outside observer. Some of the trolls mainly just want a response and you give it to them a lot of the time.

Can you find a Democrat to disown Antifa? Frankly, Perez was encouraging the statue and antifa activism generally .
But why do you even acknowledge a dislike like this?
Because I know it means I got their goat. It points out how petty they are. Other than that dislikes mean nothing.
Can you find a Democrat to disown Antifa?
Well, I'm not a democrat, but I suspect most people registered with that party do think Antifa are a bunch of assholes. I sure do. Noam Chomsky does. Are there any prominent democrats supporting Antifa? If there are, they are wrong.
You are making the mistake of calling them conservative. They are both authoritarian/socialist/fascist. The original liberal burgeoisie was roughly 'conservative', which doesn't mean no change as it is attributed today. In order to protect a functioning world, you need to make changes, but only carefully thought out.
To me the antifas are an amalgam of dittohead communist pawns, or more succinctly the "useful idiots". They are exploited for manipulation by either their racial hatred or hate of success, depending on the mark. Yet they scream "equality!". That you don't want to be swept up by the crowd, to maintain your independence of thought and values, to make your own decisions, is very much "right wing". So on behalf of my side, let me welcome you to the Right Wing! Congratulations!
The cognitive dissonance may be hard to get through but you will!
BTW, has anyone else noticed that now that they (the left) have completely hijacked "progressive" they are now trying to hijack "redneck"? What other terms have you noticed?
For all the people who still can't distinguish between liberals and the left, here's a real liberal making the distinction.

The left and the right are virtually identical. Liberals like Sam Harris don't remotely resemble either of those two conservative tribes. And those two conservative tribes are going to tear America apart unless people start embracing liberalism.
