I disagree that they are failed. Well, a lot of lesbians are clearly unattractive, but many relatively wealthy and successful men turn gay. But I think the reason is mostly that they live in an urban habitat where all kinds of vices are promoted as "choices" or as "I was born that way."

I don't think there is any evidence at all that anyone was born gay. They just picked up a bad habit from their urban peers. And then they get reinforced in that self-destructive behavior by sharing rationalizations with each other. But it's still a bad habit that typically shaves decades off of lives.
