As someone that commuted to downtown Chicago and around the city for work for 15 years, Phoenix hands down has the worst drivers. The retardation is strong. 5 fucking lanes and you are in the left and wait until 1/4 mile before your exit to get over with no signal. This is mile after mile. Not one off.
I-17 was closed for construction with zero signs of any construction. Flight issues aside a 40 minute ride turned into 70 at 2:30am the other morning. I like it out here but jesus, learn to drive people of Phoenix. I think the CA transplants are bringing it here. Worst I’ve experienced after 15-20 visits with a covid break gap.
I like Phoenix traffic way better than San Diego. The people going fast stay on the left, the ones going slow stay on the right. People mostly pass on the left. Versus SoCal where everyone drives everywhere all at once. The 17 has always been a bad freeway there. I commuted from NW to NE side of the valley every day on the 101.
