Any excuse to prevent value added industry in the USA.

Just off the title. I think pollution is a very real problem. The third world including India and China are using the oceans as a toilet and garbage dump. Maybe we need to move away from our heavy use of disposable plastics or at least ban them from countries that have no way of dealing with the waste side of things.
We also shouldn't be using chemicals that ruin our water supplies.
I have always thought pollution was a real problem but unlike "climate change" the problems of pollution can be solved much more easily and is within our control.

Agree. This is a somewhat legit article, albeit a bit simplistic. This is much more worth addressing than co2.

Agreed! Countless Americans have been irreversibly damaged by chemical pollution, in their own supposedly advanced country. Just like with the FDA, the EPA has been captured by the corporate interests. Anyone that dismisses pollution as not being a real danger is either firing off extreme political bias or works for a chemical lobby.

This particular article is about particulate matter of a certain fineness, which depending in the source, can be very dangerous if inhaled. People wear masks when doing significant building work because of the PM2.5 and PM10 dangers. Places like China and India have terrible air because of these particulate matters. Even in a decent AQI place, having an air purifier that filters down to PM2.5 can be a significant boon, especially for people with allergies.

Global warming has been gone for a while it's now climate change. There were so many articles about it, all scrubbed from internet.

Apparently global warming is included in climate change.

Climate always changes, we called them seasons. Volcanos/Tectonic plates move, so some areas r now under water n new surfaces emerges.

I'd like to see the break down of "rest of the world" numbers. US has its flaws, but I do think we're pretty good with trash, at least now. Not so much until the 70's and 80's.

Regardless of expense, I do think cups like Yeti's have reduced American trash significantly. I rarely buy a toss away bottle or something similar. Recycle all my beer cans, or any other cans. It's pretty clear Asians give no fucks. Which is somewhat surprising. Though Japan and Korea don't make the list. So that's interesting.
