The Dems are in oh fuck mode. I think they were hoping Biden would bail. He's massively unpopular. I just quoted a limo for our spring break trip since the garage is gonna be $200. Limo used to be $300-350 from my location. Fucking $850!! That's more than the first part of the trip.

Shit like this is happening to average people all over. I could afford it and can't stand driving, but fuck that. So now a small business loses revenue. Even with IL MFT taxes on gas we have pretty low fuel cost here. 2-1/2 hour round trip. I get the driver has to get to our home, but maybe an hour at most.

This is our economy. Biden is senile. Price of a limo is double from a few years back. And that driver and business loses money. That's called a lost vote. Won't shift IL, but maybe eventually. IL is going to be tighter than historic averages. Won't go red, but this illegal alien situation is becoming a problem here.

$350->$850 can't be explained by gas prices. They are not up 3x since "few years back". More like slightly up or even sligtly down (because they yo-yo-ed all over). What else is a factor? Airport fees?

IL gas is maybe up 10-20% from Trump. Probably a factor of minimum wage increases, insurance and cost of vehicles? I don't know. Half the trip is free because of points. I'm naive to money really, but that is insane. Thought it would be fun to splurge and that's off the table now. I was thinking $400 since we'd pay $200 for the parking garage anyway. I'd rather do a nice date night and leave the kids back at the hotel or Airbnb we rented.
