Speaker Johnson didn't allow the Foreign Aid Bill to pass through the Rules Committee before coming to a Vote.

Regardless of pressure, he could have used that excuse to delay it or modify it, and he did not. There's no way as Speaker he and/or his staff doesn't know what the process for Spending Bills are.

It was stunning to see the enthusiasm House members have for foreign borders than our own. If only they had a tenth of the excitement for our own border.

If this wasn't an election year, I'd say remove his ass though the Dems might nominate Professor Ice People's nephew, Hakeem Jeffries.

Yeah, there's a uniparty, but being a member of the majority means you have extra pull to make your donors happy and secure post-retirement patrons. So at least that's some punishment or fear of it next time.

Unfortunately, because it's an election year and Democrat Control on Election Day and afterwards would be a really bad situation...

And we all know they'd turn right around and do what they claimed was unconstitutional/"norm-breaking" in January 2025 without a lick of shame.
