More police paranoia. Just because someone calls and says someone has a gun, does not mean there actually is a gun. Do these officers not have any sound judgement at all, after observing the scene for what appears to be minutes?

Apparently not. That guy is going to get a big settlement which I'm sure he can use if he's a social worker in a group home. Maybe that is what will finally make the difference.

With so many video cameras out there, and police making these ridiculous mistakes, it's going to get very expensive for them if they don't fix the system. Better hiring and better training would be a good start.. People doing that kind of work should be doing it because they are capable of doing it well.

I have a theory that Irownman's family is very dysfunctional, and for the most part they don't want to talk to him. So he comes on here to attempt to abuse strangers, since his family doesn't let him easily do it to them any more. OR maybe he has even learned that venting the ugly side of himself in this way is better for him. That's good.

I feel that by receiving his bs attempts to troll us or rile us, we are doing a karmic service to his family. Because every time he's an asshole to one of us, who it rolls of of, it's not hurting anyone close to him, and it's not hurting us either.

So I would just like to say to you Ironman: you're welcome.

From now on, when I happen to see one of your assholish comments towards me, I'll sometimes respond "you're welcome" and you'll know what I mean.
