I don't begrudge Tov' from simply linking new articles to Patnet. I seriously doubt you would make one post if he linked mostly right hyperbole. You'd just be thumbing-up. So, no, it has nothing to do with him opining or not.

I think that the amount of effort he puts into this site on a daily basis is commendable. He contributes a lot of articles. Just because you don't agree with the authors of the various articles doesn't mean that the articles aren't worth discussing. From your vantage point, you can look at this as a regular supply of insight into how the other side views various issues. Surely you aren't worried that merely by seeing such articles that your adherence to opposing views might be shaken? And of course, there's always ignore if it really bothers you that much.
