This is a pretty vague statement. He already tolerates the Klan more than Obama would like and more than I would like. He pretended that he didn't know who David Duke was, when he's clearly known for a long time. Duke has over 5% support in the polls and made the debate stage for a Senate race the other day. Duke credits Trump for much of his success. One of two newspapers that have supported Donald is the KKK paper. Now, some papers are clearly liberal, but loads of conservative papers picked Hillary. Many publications that have never endorsed people have stepped up to denounce Deplorable Don. Saying that Donald would tolerate the Klan doesn't mean that he would bring back public lynchings. It just means that he would not speak out against the KKK or any of the other racist groups as they behave today.

The people who use secret decoder rings to read Podesta emails and say that Clinton was a regular rapist on the Epstein express are being ridiculous. That's the flip side of assuming that Trump is a violent rapist.
