Like the charts here drive the Anti American bears nuts

"U.S. Job Market Nearing Full Employment" just wrote this on Friday... automatic click from Shadow Stat believers, most pushing gold and silver websites

https://loganmohtashami.com/2016/12/02/u-s-job-market-nearing-full-employment/

77758   anonymous   2016 Dec 4, 6:56pm

Lol - thanks Logan...

Logan Mohtashami says

Great Recession lost 8.8 million Jobs

Post 2010 We gained 15.6 Million

Where did we lose 95 Million Americans from 2008-2010

We did not.

Strategist says

We did not.

Then the 2nd - 7th dialog goes into prime age labor force numbers....

Which currently now is 2.4 million missing

Then the fall down the Alice .. cough cough Zerohedge rabbit hole.. and it gets worse and worse as the conversation continues

Some just leave and never come back, some ( which I give credit too) acknowlege that they just didn't know the data and then the rest are just Anti American bears ...

So I have fun with them now being a Republican

Stop lying or else Trump will hunt you down on twitter

#Trump vs #ZeroHedge and #Goldbugs

Going to be hilarious to watch

77761   anonymous   2016 Dec 5, 1:49pm

my debates are mostly with people who deny that we have had any recovery - republicans that hated Obama from the beginning and are basically saying it couldn't have been worse - he wrecked the economy but thank god now we have trump and its all gonna be great. I could care less of a political side but numbers are numbers...and even though the statistics that people llike yourself post seem quite easy to understand it always comes back to the labor force participation - the worst labor participation in 30 years yadda yadda, full-time is now 30hrs, unemployment count is rigged, ...

I have kind of given up...

But on another note - whats your take on wealth gap?

What country has 25 Trillion now in housing and in Pension plans

Money velocity is terrible but this gap isn't as bad as people ( the hard left) make it out to be...

Right

I saw a quote from a book "millionaire next door" the other day. It was published in 1996, 3.5% owned half the wealth...isn't that number 1% now? Is that no concern for you when apparently a smaller and smaller number of people control more share of the entire wealth? Just throwing that out there because I am curious what your thoughts are.

SubOink says

Velocity of wealth distribution isn't good ...

But the middle class is rising and soon a massive older work force will either be dead or leave the work force all together giving the rise the big labor force coming on line

and as long as this moves forward

I am not worried about the 70/30 ratio ... because the U.S. middle class consumption model and education is the best the world has ever seen... as long as inflation is low... the U.S. is going to smoke the world out badly too

What other country has 25 Trillion dollars in their pension plans

A lot wage numbers hide the facts of benefits and 401K contribution

The data is being looked at in a wrong manner

My biggest fear... massive aging work force and yes they will always have S.S. but how much does their needs being taken care off take away from their children consumption model

77766   _   2016 Dec 5, 4:02pm

Bigger concern is Europe, China and Japan ....

There is no death wall economic thesis out there because inflation has been contained

Climate Change is always the X factor is any future variable that can't be accounted for

Still in any case, the U.S. wins on all fronts

Logan Mohtashami says

Instead of gloating about the value of assets, you should meditate on how the value of homes is based on competition for increasingly rare available units, whereas the job market is based on competition for an increasingly fragile and low income. It's diverging that way.

As for pensions, their only value is the time the working age population can afford to dedicate to the support of old people.

77768   _   2016 Dec 5, 5:22pm

Heraclitusstudent says

competition for increasingly rare available units,

home sales are at cycle highs with inventory at cycle lows, supply is there...

Affordable housing is another subject all together for a different debate.. I wish I had the video of the conference with all the government housing people where I could show you what they said about this

77769   _   2016 Dec 5, 5:24pm

The CAR ( California Association Of Realtors) asked me to speak about Trump Economics at a conference late January .. if housing affordability comes up I will for sure bring that discussion here

Be patient! Stay invested if you want.

But no new money should enter the market now.

Hoard cash and wait for your oportuninty. It will come.

Invest every month, ignore economic cycles, recessions are gift from the gods, slow and steady wins the race.

The real issue is creating a financial back drop to where you could add $ in every month ... forced savings from homes and stocks

Whistle!!

Ok there was a ton about video games which I didn't find super relevant, but all the references to the death of reason, murdered by a SJW with "feelings" and a quest for the perfect safe space was close. IMHO there's also a component on immigration, fear of radical Islamist being brought in by elitists, and collusion of all media to cover the fact that politics hasn't been for the people in decades.

77781   Tenpoundbass   2016 Dec 6, 1:56pm

We were helplessly fucked in the ass until Trump came down the escalator on June 16th 2015.
I'll never forget that date, that was America's ReIndependence day.

Democracy now, still doesn't think June 16 was significant. They report that the most significant news worthy event on that day.
Was Presidential hopeful Jeb Bush was inconvenienced by activists.

So the alt-right started to defend video games?

77783   Dan8267   2016 Dec 6, 10:27pm

I suspect that the alt right brand is going to suffer the same degradation from misuse, both accidental and deliberate, as all other political brands have. The word feminist was poisoned in the 1970s by misandrists who had nothing to do with the real fight for equal rights in the early 20th century. Liberalism is under constant attack by people trying to poison that word by associating it with leftist ideology and political correctness that are the polar opposite of liberalism. Black lives matter originally meant that we must stop the killing of innocent, nonthreatening blacks simply because there is no concern for those lives. It was deliberately misconstrued by racists as saying "only black lives matter", which is such a gross misinterpretation that it must be deliberate. And then black thugs used the term as an excuse to riot, putting the nail in its coffin.

The problem with political and social terms is that their coiners must aggressively defend these terms from misuse or they become nothing more than meaningless and inconsistent labels. The founders of movements need to own their self-coined terms and put their definitions in writing on an official platform that is specific, explicit, and clear so that it cannot be hijacked by other parties. Vagueness invites misconstruing.

http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/normie

A derivative of the English adjective normal, the term normie first came into colloquial usage in the context of mental health-related discussions sometime in the mid-to-late 1990s, with its earliest known mention dating back to April 1996 on the personal website of James L.

77788   justme   2016 Dec 6, 11:32pm

I wonder if the alt-right will manage to do the impossible: To reverse 40 years of "liberal" being made a dirty word by the right-wingers.

77789   justme   2016 Dec 7, 12:31am

I find this whole explanation of the "alt-right" quite interesting. There is definitely a truth that the alt-right contain many people who care about FREEDOM, and therefore are LIBERAL.

Now, whether electing Trump to get said freedom is going to work, is another story entirely.
