“We will show our children that love always wins.†— Robin, 43, and Sidney, 38, Mass.
Obviously, these guys haven't heard the song: "Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough"; clearly Robin with age advantage wears the pants
“I see this march as a way to make myself visible in the movement against Trump.†― Summana, 31, N.Y.
On election night, I was sick to my stomach and I immediately thought, “What can I do?†I voted, but it wasn’t enough. I see this march as a way to make myself visible in the movement against Trump, to make sure he doesn’t ruin the country.
I’m going to take the bus in for the day. So far, I’m going alone, but I’m trying to convince my mother and some friends to come with me. Either way, I feel like I have to march because I’m frightened. I’m black. I’m Muslim. I don’t wear the hijab
----------
She should wear the hijab, this way everyday won't be a 'bad hair' day
“I’m definitely a Trump-generated, new-wave feminist.†― Tristan, 17, N.Y.
I’m definitely a Trump-generated, new-wave feminist. As a teenage boy, feminism hadn’t been on my radar much before the election. But I had been a longstanding member of a social inclusion/anti-bullying committee at my school and was struck by the fact that had a student uttered any of Trump’s insulting comments, he or she would have been called out by teachers or fellow students.
I am going to march arm-in-arm with my amazing mother ― who I affectionately call “Commando Mom,â€
--------------
Yes, Commando mom, because she fights his battles for him; It's a miracle that this guy hasn't had his face pummeled in.
“I’m a single mom. I want my daughter to see that I’m fighting.†― Ellie, 41, Minn.
I’m a single mom. My daughter is 12. I definitely think that electing a person who so blatantly, obviously doesn’t respect women sets a tone that threatens women of all ages. I’m very vocal with my daughter about my expectations of public servants, and I tell her that having public leaders conduct themselves in the way Donald Trump has is not, and should not be normal. It is not OK.
-------
Fighting is exactly what drove the father away; We know Ellie is a fighter, but we have no idea what she's fighting for
When I was a teenager, I had a paperroute, got chased by dogs at 5 AM. My dad told me to take the lawnmower and edger and get jobs cutting gas.
Me too..
Too late someone invented the Internet and cheap illegal latinos.
Paperroute... lol...
West Orange don't work cheap you know..
West Orange mostly sucks balls. It's everything that's wrong with NIMBYism. No train service, Lack of modern housing stock, lack of retail businesses, highest property taxes in Essex county, super high HOA fees, no appreciation, terrible schools, terrible resale value for home(most homes here for sale need 100K to make up-to-date), detached garage homes when it's 17 degrees in morning. If things work out long term, rather live in Livingston or one of caldwells. Only good thing about West Orange is that it is relatively safe and close to 280 though, which makes door to door pretty easy.
I actually like the petco on route 70 much better than the dump across the road from where I live at essex green.
My landlord is losing 800 bucks/month renting to my wife and I, because there is virtually no demand for short-term rentals and even the long-term rental marked is limited.
They charge higher costs because they can,
Right, but that is also true in California, specifically, that they can charge more, which is still cheaper at $4.00 +change/ gallon, despite subsidies on gas in New Jersey. California not as well-penetrated by public transportation as NY/NJ, MTA, Path, NJTransit etc.
Your lover, Gov. Moonbeam, wants to fuck over the CA residents to help pay for his government employee's FREEBIES.
It's kicking can down the road; the root of problem, as someone here mentioned is double dipping and the deficits many cities are running, which are unsustainable, no matter how many jobs California generates on an aggregate basis.
plus those doctors in West Orange
if doctors are the only thing driving economy, that might help to explain why the place is so fucked. For anyone with a family, Livingston or Caldwells better. West Orange isn't even that much cheaper unless you are on the side of town bordering Orange, which is a mediocre crowd.
Easier to buy a house, but not a place where you would want to live 30 years to pay down mortgage, only to be stuck with super high taxes and HOA fees. As much as I like an attached 2 car garage home, single family would be the way to go, especially when you live in a community where the HOA is as sneaky as these guys are.
Real Estate is a favored asset class with a generational bias. It is protected by law, by banks, and by the Fed (which is neither).
The Baby Boom is telling the Millenimules that they have to change their expectations and lifestyles. They should expect to double and triple-up in tiny rentals. Double and triple-up on degrees. Double and triple-up on non-real estate debt. Ironically, they are also demanding that those Millenials keep paying for the boomer social security.
Just before Bastille Day, the French aristocrats were also screaming that the huddled masses should shut up and work harder. The powdered wigs came off voluntarily. The heads weren't so fortunate.
48 now,there will be more.
If you end up speaking to one, attack their stupidity.
Brilliant ! Elect a 6 time draft dodger to be commander & chief.
Now that ACA is repealed, what kind of insurance can you not afford?
There are plenty of other attack strategies.
Find one that works for you.
The only sign, banner, placard needed at protests:
BOYCOTT ALL REPUBLICANS!

You have 72 hours to stop Donald being crowned. Think this will work?
Here's a quote from an article quoting Putin about Timmy's little golden shower conspiracy.
"Putin added that the allegations were “obvious fabrications,†Bloomberg reported. He added: “People who order fakes of the type now circulating against the U.S. president-elect, who concoct them and use them in a political battle, are worse than prostitutes because they don’t have any moral boundaries at all.â€
Now that ACA is repealed, what kind of insurance can you not afford?
It's not getting repealed joeyjojojunior says
there are many more. Republicans blocked a great number of bills that had strong public support. You need to listen more, I guess.
Reading comprehension....where are all the reading comprehension specialists today. Dan, Bob, Bueller?
The reason you could not understand what I was saying in second part is because you completely misinterpreted first part of what I said. Try to keep up.
I said if these guys behave in an obstructionist manner they would have problems dealing with an unprecedented level of negative publicity that these individual congress persons have not experienced.
You said: they haven't had any problem over last 8 years.
I said(paraphrasing): they had not behaved in an obstructionist manner under obama.
You then started talking about republicans behaving in an obstructionist manner.
Continued @joeyjojojunior
Where are links that these democrats standing in solidarity behaved in obstructionist manner during obama presidency. Links or you are talking out of anus
Not even sure what this means.
Why is that NOT surprising??
Hey Tatty, got that list yet of Repub congressmen that DIDN'T attend Obama's ceremony??
Where are the reading comprehension police. When a moron like this can't read those guys are always silent
"Or maybe you are claiming that these congresspersons have dealt with the level of publicity for their voting records that Obama has dealt with over last 8 years; again, links or you're talking out of anus"
IOW, these congresspersons standing up for Lewis haven't created any waves over last 8 years and now will never see every bill they propose shot down.
Most of these congresspersons boycotting inauguration aren't prominent in the party, with few exceptions. If they are please provide links showing what legislation they have spearheaded or proposed that ended up becoming law. Since you basically cannot, for the vast majority, you are hence talking out of your anus
“If we discover that Donald Trump or his advocates played a role to help provide strategy — if they’re the ones who came up with ‘Crooked Hillary,’ if they’re the ones who came up with, ‘she’s ill, something’s wrong with her energy,’ and the way that he basically described her during the campaign — I think that is something that would put the question squarely on the table whether or not he should be impeached.â€
Because only them rascally Russians could do this. She is a loon.
Just before Bastille Day, the French aristocrats were also screaming that the huddled masses should shut up and work harder. The powdered wigs came off voluntarily. The heads weren't so fortunate
During the lead up to the French Revolution, the 3rd Estate (peasants) were made to pay taxes on land while there was multiple exemptions for land tax for the wealthy. The size of the government of France was so expensive, and mostly concentrated in Paris, that like today in the US, the far reaching counties far from the city center were revolting. That the Nobles exempted themselves from tax, that the Clergy also were overbearing, that the workers had to pay so much tax while they struggled built up in the 3rd Estate a revolutionary spirit. That the 3rd Estate also had to provide so much of their crops to the landowners was also a terrible thing, being a huge burden. Stories from DeToqueville "Ancienne Regime" talk of farmers bringing their crops to market, meeting a the land owner along the way and being forced to turn over a good amount of his crops on the spot. On the way back from the market, the farmer/peasant was met by a government official to collect one of 4-5 taxes including the land tax. The Royals and their minions were constantly changing the laws to collect more and more taxes.

If the governments role in outsourcing a great number of jobs, from the people geographically located in the midwest, far from city center is not a coincidence, but a result of the elitism in cities that existed in 1500-1700 France, that also exists today in US cities. It warrants a study of the "busy work" in cities, of the Lawyers, Intendants, Humanities Majors, vs those who work the land, make saws and semiconductors vs paper and laws.
A read of Montesquieu and D Tocqueville is more than enlightening.
This is what trump meant by draining swamp. Maybe she shouldn't have conspired against Bernie sanders
She's so stupid you can only impeach a President for offenses committed while serving office.
We went over this when the Libtards were drinking up all of the bathwater when it looked like Hillary might steal the election, but what happens if the GOP tried to Impeach her?
The unanimous answer was "Impeachment is only for crimes committed in office".
Think she has a pantyhose stretched over her bald head under that wig?
Where do you CA residents find these Clueless Rodents???
Maxine Waters, A Democratic Congresswoman has called for Donald Trump to be impeached on the grounds that he coined the term ‘crooked Hillary’ in collusion with the Russian government, even suggesting that the Kremlin was feeding Trump such lines to use during his campaign.
Only person of note boycotting trump
She's so stupid you can only impeach a President for offenses committed while serving office.
She's pandering to the Lowest common denominator amongst DNC votebank. Her district consists of 80% LCD. We can thank voting for welfare to keep them on their side of tracks
I wish Dems would keep their cool for a bit. Trump will implode on his own if given a bit of time. Waters is just making moderates more sympathetic to the fool.

I think you need a writing class. Your overuse of the pronoun "they" makes it impossible to determine your point.
You implied that, if Dems acted in an obstructionist manner, the negative publicity would hurt them. I simply replied that the Republicans did for the last 8 years exactly what you are saying would harm the Dems, and they paid no price for it. Easy parallel to see.
"Where are links that these democrats standing in solidarity behaved in obstructionist manner during obama presidency. Links or you are talking out of anus"
wtf are you talking about? I was obviously referring to Republican Congressmen who did exactly that over the last 8 years during the Obama Presidency. Why would a Dem. obstruct a Democratic President? Are you an idiot?
Hillary Clinton's campaign never endorsed the birther movement. It was a rumor on the fringe. Repeating that movement actually was done by Trump.
Not only did the Hillary Camp begin the Birth Certificate rumors, her camp never denied circulating the Obama in Muslim Garb Photo. There are leaked memos showing that Hillary was determined to paint Obama as "Not Really American", while saying she was "Born in Middle America to the Middle Class (SNORT)"

"Hey, whaddya mean? I think it's Great that Barak Hussein Obama represents the diversity of America an has a Muslim Father"
The picture is pretty funny too - Winner on the left and Loser on the right - get it ?
Completely unrealistic.
Both teams are outstanding. Even with a great last 2 minutes, and having the kicker complete 2 > 50 yd field goals in the last seconds, this was a nearly even match, essentially a draw.
The most important thing is that both teams gave it their all.
Trump will implode on his own if given a bit of time.
That's what everyone thought end of 2015 and ever since.
Maybe taunting him a little would help?
Sorry, I lived in an all white area.. no illegals available.. (and NO smartphones)
and that was back when teenagers actually WORKED to make their spending money... something YOU know NOTHING about.
Yeah but it's a fact now there are smartphones, Internet, illegal aliens, and generally a lot of grown ups looking to mow loans to feed their families.
That's what everyone thought end of 2015 and ever since.
Maybe taunting him a little would help?
Past performance is not a guaranty of future returns. I'm going with a fundamental analysis based on impossible promises and terrible approval ratings. Trump is a great salesman and marketer. As I noted over a year ago, his skillset is perfect for running for office, but not so great for governing. My bet is that the tires will start to fall off when the rubber meets the road. Taunting / trolling is OK. Giving a character foil that shifts sympathy toward Trump is a mistake. I put Lewis more in the first camp. Waters' comments seem to me to be in the latter.
couldn't wait to get my working papers and get a real job at age 16.
One of the few places I saw hiring teenagers was in n out burger. I just don't see that many high schoolers working anymore. Most people are of college age or grads of college with iffy job prospects
M's are buying homes.....now that they're in their 30's now
Which cities/states?
Which cities/states?
One thing to be mindful of the data... The NAR has their survey data of first time home buyers, last report has 35%, running at trend 30% for many years. That is still Millions and millions of first time home buyers in this cycle. However, looking at the raw loan data, The M's are the biggest buyers of homes now, just the law of demographic math.
Mark Fleming and I presented this at the economic conference with the thesis that Student loan debt isn't the big factor on why first time home buyers aren't massive in this cycle. The educated income power given with a degree is a plus not a minus. Now that the M's are in the 30's they're the biggest buyers now of homes
The data you requested is above
The more interesting time frame is to see what happens in years 2020-2024 when there will be a higher supply of college educated dual income Americans in play and how it relates to housing demand.
In any case, as always, this isn't a deflationary thesis. Even the biggest American bear Harry Dent gives up his bearish theories in the next decade
