I have relatives and friends in Phoenix. I’m beyond shocked that Sinema was even close.
I suspect pretty strong malfeasance. I can tell you that AZ isn’t nearly as close to the edge as Nevada. Truly the Democrat voters in Nevada are fools about to screw up the best things ever. No state income tax, very pro 2nd amendment gun laws, and a part time state legislature.
Why do the boobs flee a place that leftist politics have destroyed and bring it to a new place?
Because their old place has become too expensive and they enjoy spreading moral righteousness
I just never had a fancy for TX
lostand confused saysI just never had a fancy for TX
There is no one TX. Dallas is very different from Houston which is different from San Antonio etc. People have this stereotype but it is wrong in most TX other than may be Lubbock or Amarillo.

I have 11 years until a retirement that would be the envy of most people, but isn’t nearly enough in CA if I don’t already own a house(and of prop 13 is repealed wouldn’t be enough no matter what). However it’s fantastic anywhere I can buy a house under $500k that has no or minimal state income tax. Nevada was always my backup but now who the hell knows. I’d be very ok in Dallas or Austin..but so far the wife says hell no to Texas. We will see.
TX does have one problem - fairly high RE taxes. I pay about 7.5K on a 400K house.
I am paying as much in taxes as a million dollar home in CA and my friends tell me my property tax is cheap! Prices don't go up much and the winter isn't welcoming.
I have been looking at places to move. AZ was at the top of my list-a lot of my CA friends from when I used to live there moved to AZ-back when prices were low. I love Sedona and the grand canyon and UT is close by.
But this Sinema concerns me. The only reason the lead is so small for the pink tutu wearing Taliban loving freak si because there was a green party candidate-else she would have decisively won. I also saw AZ is the state with the highest growth rate in the nation-from people moving there.
From those who are familiar with the current AZ-has it become a desert version of CA now?? is it filled with SJWs and tax and spend loving liberals????
Sadly I do like my job-but not much else in this place. But if the dems want to raise taxes again-need to move. FL seems nice, I just never had a fancy for TX. I don't think I can live in the deep south-maybe it is changed now, but AL or Mississippi nope. Though I visited AL border with FL-very nice place.
Hmm perhaps UT. My job right now does not allow remote for long periods, but should allow it soon-we are going that way. CO used to eb that way-but looks like becoming a dem mini me CA. East coast is just not my type. I love the west-the mountains , the high deserts. FL is a different, not typical east coast.
