Is there a "Face-Palm Award"? For the entire century so far? If so, knowingly training your daughter for a career as a pole dancer wins.

Actually, the stripper pole has evolved into a sport of sorts. The athletic and strength moves are kept, but the contestants do not take off clothes or wear anything more revealing than what a gymnast would wear.
